The biomonitor send a signal to trauma team only if you're in critical condition. Anyone planning on kidnapping a high level target(ie one who can afford platinum coverage) will generally be smart enough to place a jammer near said kidnapped person.
Except it doesn't work...as evident by the first mission in Cyberpunk being recovering a Plat holder You want security? Get some Miltech or Arasaka dogs

That's the only reason Trauma Team was able to respond. A professional force of combat medics got outsmarted by scavs. Wakko , V , and Jackie just happen to be more capable than the scavs. Trauma Team however fails more often than they succeed. As lore , gigs , and ncpd hustles prove. Why anyone pays them is beyond me.

@@TheBarOst can agree. It is in their motto. It takes 3 minutes at maximum to reach the target's proximity to track it down and rescue it. Like some fuckin' search and rescue mission.
Trauma Team services seem like a sweet deal. They fix whatevers wrong with you AND they cap the guy(s) who did it to you, now that's a two for one deal if i've ever seen one.
Even better, their medics frequently volunteer in local clinics for extra unpaid work in underserved communities, and the company encourages it, simply for the improvements in public health. Plus their 2020 rivalry with REO Meatwagon was as much based on medical ethics as corporate rivalry. Were they or are their hands perfectly clean? No. Its Cyberpunk, no one's hands are. But compared to most corporations...they're certainly better than most. Just...don't get in the way of treating their clients.
@@MaeveHarrison-161 This is an unpopular opinion but in Cyberpunk the corporations really are the good guys in comparison to what the gangs offer. Even Arisaka which is supposed to be the big evil, is actually pretty okay in that they are one of the few factions in the game that never betray you. If you hurt them they hit back, but otherwise they leave people alone, and in the street kid routes they keep their promises to you, even though you literally stole their primo flagship technology.
@@DaveSmith-cp5kj Honestly? Its either gangs all the way down, or corps all the way up, in many ways. Just differing levels of power and control and organization as size grows and influence grow. Start small, and its usually focused on survival or tomorrow's eddies or euro. Get a bit bigger, and it may be neighborhood protection or control, or making a real profit or something a bit more advanced, but the higher you get the more complicated things get...and the more people actually try to at least project a functional image because it sells better. But at the end of the day in Cyberpunk the line between a corp and a gang is usually just how much influence they have, and more than one gang has crossed that line. Probably some corps have fallen the other way, too, crushed by the competition until they were just running a local taxi group or something and protecting their turf violently.

Plus the corporations fought 4 entire wars over monetary reasons. The corporations aren't the only bad guys, but they're the fucking devil in cyberpunk, trust me.
The moment I saw TT on the Cyberpubk gameplay from a while back. I instantly fell in love with these guys. If I had a choice, I'd work most definitely for TT.
Its a hard line of work that requires experience in both combat and extensive medical training with high standards and high qualifications. I'd imagine the line of work pays fairly well.

Trauma Team has always had a special place in my heart. From their Ad-Hoc creation, because the guy who made the Cyberpunk TTRPG didn’t know how to get a healer on scene fast enough for his players, to their in lore ruthless efficiency. As fucked up as it is, there’s a weird sort of honor in doing whatever it takes to get to your patient. Even if it means blowing through people in your way.
Vector 7 is one of the Standout Synthwave artists out there today who rarely disappoints with his music. Creating an atmosphere that transports the listener into the electronica world of Tron and robots, but with always a groove and beat that makes the body want to move.
If anyone is still here in 2024. Currently starting the roadmap to a trauma team based extraction like shooter. Gonna take a long time but we gonna get there!!!
The problem is real EMS work isn't really exciting. Its long hours and dealing with stupid people a lot of the time, like drug addicts, or people who don't want care and are uncooperative because you were summoned by their loved ones, not themselves.
@@DaveSmith-cp5kj Maybe try EMS services from other countries that are poor or operate differently? Because the US may operate like that, but for other Countries that have different priorities and far more different environments to operate.
@@mubassirzaman7202 It's the same everywhere dude. It's the nature of the job. Just because you are dispatched doesn't mean the victim is going to be cooperative. If you want the closest thing to the video game EMTs, it would be getting your certs, putting in the hours for a resume, then joining a private security company that does PSD work, or possibly a SWAT team. Even then, you're still going to have to deal with the above. Lots of rich dudes you may get as a client doing security work are drug addicts and especially with celebrities you are hired by their production team and they see you as an annoyance.

To be fair,this song wrecks all the cyberpunk-ish tracks so far. Plus i always loved the concept of the Trauma Team:a highly armored and armed squad of trained medics,fitted out with the tools to basically patch up anyone who isn't turned into red paste over the concrete BUT also has the tools to decimate any upcoming/existing threat. Quick,battle-hardened combat medics.

@@dogbloxz7142 Theirs actually a chicago in the game's universe , and it is at a similar state like Night City, but surprisingly, more worse. Making Futuristic Chicago as the next place for the Cyberpunk games would be an excelllent choice.
I've ran several CP2020 games and campaigns. My players will fuck with the megacorps, the army, intelligence agencies, and every booster gang they come across. But in every group they agree on one thing, we don't fuck with Trauma Team.
