i mean, most brands you know even in the west test on animals because they import to china, and to import to china they need to be animal tested, it’s a law. really sucks ass that all the bigger brands you know aren’t cruelty free
very tired of seeing people critique china for testing on animals, many big western brands do that as well. feels offputting reading comments like these
@@tamtrinh7258 EVERY big western brand does animal testing. to even have their products in the Chinese market they need to do it. after all china has a huge population and a huge number of skincare enthusiasts and consumers. no big brand wants to let go of that opportunity....and a lot of them are "big" because of that. i barely recognize any of the cruelty free brands bc they just don't have the space to grow (literally)
