I'm here because we just had an Aldi open in our city and I found this. I love deep dish but it's just not something you can find anywhere on the Gulf Coast, and it's expensive to get everything to make it myself. So when I see a deep dish, I scoop it up. To this day my all-time favorite frozen pizza is the DiGiorno deep dish they used to have in the early 2000s I think it was.
Had to watch this one. Was at a Gino's East about a year ago when The Little Lady and I went to Chicago. It was good, but I just can't call it a pizza. I kind of look at it as an open face meat sauce pie. Loved watching your review of this frozen one, makes me want to try it again! Great stuff Tony!
Thanks Paulie! The Chicago Style Deep Dish is definitely it's own beast. I'm a big cheese fan, so that is one of the frozen pizzas that I have had with the most cheese on it.
I'm gonna have to side with little man on the Red Baron. I buy those brick oven crusts and cook them at 600/650 in a pizza oven. Comes out pretty good.

Red Barron growing up tasted like cardboard. Did they get better? Havwnt had ir since the 90's.
I grew up eating Red Baron, so I have that childhood fondness for it. For the price, I think it is a really solid frozen pizza.

It looked great, but that crust was really thick on the bottom taking room away from more topping.
