When I think of their relationship, I think that it speaks to our soul. It's how we should all treat each other. To love each other. Protect each other. Care for each other. Be a guiding light home in the darkness for each other. Nurture each other. Help each other to eat well and sleep well. And when one is lost, to find them. It goes beyond romantic love. That is too singular. We need to practice this kind of relationship with everyone, every day. There is so much good that needs to be done and so little time to do it in.
You're so right. This drama is excellent, shows how humans are born with so much love, it's just the differences that we focus on which makes us hate each other. If only we stop caring about the boundaries and political agendas and just be kind to one another no matter what, this world would be a much better place.
Also, if you look at Yoon Se-ri you see what the media tells us what will make us happy. She's rich and famous. She's beautiful. She has boyfriends by the score. She can eat what she wants to eat. So much so that she chooses to eat only 3 bites. She takes warm baths with scented candles all around her. Yet she doesn't sleep well. She doesn't find pleasure in food. She doesn't hang out with people. She doesn't feel secure or protected. Her crash landing into North Korea and finding Captain Ri and the guys and girls squad, made her whole and happy. She slept well. She ate well. She smiled a lot. Even with the threats hanging over her head she felt better. More secure. It was leaving there and going back to her old life that worried her. She didn't need money or fame or multiple boyfriends to be happy. She needed Captain Ri. Just one person. He made her feel safe and loved. That's what was missing in her life.
Cloy is my ever first KDrama to watch and I have never moved on ever since. Love Binjin so much. They have an undeniable chemistry, perfect for each other. Get married soon please! Praying for both of them. ❤️
