Heya thanks Britney best explanation I've heard,I need to double check my 265hemi 6cyl cam timming. It's hesitating under load been throwing parts at engine trying to get it right. Hey still learning built engine myself. Cheers too you..
I find it incredible to see such a beautiful doll doing mechanical things and even more incredible that she really knows how to do them
Thank you!!
Love these cam degreeing tools. Awesome stuff Britney. Keep the videos coming
Will do:)
I have tried to watch at least 5 other cam degree videos and I kept getting lost. After watching yours I feel like I can go do it right now and understand exactly what I need to do and why. Nice work, much appreciated!
I’m glad it helped 🥹
Thank you for the video. I’m looking to build a new 454 for my new to me obs dually. The one thing I didn’t understand was how to degree the cam… until now.
Thank you!
Glad I could help!!
Never seen a fine woman know so much about cars 🔥❤ knowledge is power and thanks for the video
Always learning here, thank you Britney! ❤😊
I love this video Deffintly gonna watch all your videos! I’m gonna be doing this soon on my 94 z28 when I rebuilt it!
Thank you!!
Really well explained, might be hard to follow if it's your first time but watch it a few times and it will make sense. I was so lost the first time I used the degree wheel but it really isn't that hard.
I appreciate it!!!
Its good to hear Martins name. He spec'd my cam in my LS years ago
He’s a good man!
Great video! I have somehow never done this before and needed a refresher
Thank ya!
You are so talented I'm very impressed 😊
Thanks for the great tutorial!
I’ve been tryna understand cams better I’m bout do my first cam for my ls1 specs are .600/.600 The icl is a 110 and lsa is 112 so does that mean it’s already advanced +2?
Cool, but what i don't understand is. Why degree it if you can't adjust it?
To see if you were sent the correct cam or even a quality one
Best explanation i have seen on the u-tubes.
Thank you!
Well done, Britney! Nice work! Thank you for it!
Thank you!!
Good, solid explanation. Nice video, keep them coming.

She needs a show on motor trend one of the best tutorial I've seen
I wish!!
After recently subscribing and watching some of her videos, I think she is going places. I think RUclips is just a stepping stone for her. We’ll see her on tv at some point. She’s smart, knows her way around a car, and it just so happens she’s very easy on the eyes.
This is a great video, and easy to follow. Im a machinist by trade and of course what u said about finding discrepancy between your cam in your engine to the cam card is absolutely true. One other discrepancy could be your travel indicator that u are using, ur dads setup was very good, although i prefer using noga mag bases for articulation lol. Your dad has to have some manual machinist background. You are using an off brand indicator for actual measurements, i have severel my self but i only use them for finding zero, when i actually need to measure something their are only 3 brands worth trusting mititoyo which is probably the best nowadays, starrett and brown and sharpe. Starrett and brown and sharpe are iffy if they are new bc they make alot of stuff in china now. But mitotoyo is always reliable bc its been and still remains japan built. But, your so close and im sure u arent worried about it but it could possibly explain the discrepancy you have gotten also. Im not sure what the indicator was that u used in the beginning when finding your piston height, but the one u used on the lifter for your cam was a "phase 2" i believe.
Great video, thanks for sharing
Thank you!
GREAT JOB 2 THUMBS UP
Still confused, I think because you started the video already at TDC, w/both the dial at 0 and the cam wheel at 0. Not sure if that was random luck?

HUUUGE
Why are these videos so complicated making a simple thing rocket science with a precision coat hanger ????
This is simply how you do it. If it’s too complicated for you then don’t. It’s simple
Oh a pretty girl telling us how to do something that’s been done thousands of times. Must be for the views
Do you even have certs to even be "teaching" people? Plenty of guys on youtube do far more detailed engine work and get far less views and subs. You also started not long ago which means YOutube is helping you out all while you're playing that tired old narrative of women in automotive which shows you haven't been into cars all that long...
Is there someone else who can explain this? A man, perhaps?
That’s cute
@@britneyautomotive not as cute as you!!! You did a good job btw.
