Major in Visual Effects or you could deep dive into compositing. Everything here ranges from basic rotoscoping, keying, matte painting and so much more! I sometimes regret not following through what I studied which is Digital Animation but now i'm working in Advertising. :/

Here's Benji's advice to aspiring visual effects artists, from the cutting room floor: "I think going to school for just visual effects is maybe a bit of a mistake. Go do a photography degree. Do a fine art degree. That will all help with becoming a better visual effects artist. Learning how one piece of software works is great here and now, but that piece of software will be redundant in a couple of years. The foundation of art, photography, design, is in what we do every day, so that's my advice."
