I think a really cute name for the chicken/duck would be just pushing chicken and duck together... chuck!

I just love Chuck, as it seems people have unofficially named him. He's like a duck who was adopted by chickens, so he wears a costume to fit in with his family. Draw all the flowers you want! Don’t feel bad about showing flowers twice!! It’s just so nice to see your creative juices flowing and showing that you do similar things a few times sets an example that if there’s something someone likes to create they can do it as much as they want!! ❤

Like you mentioned..I have been mixed media.. mixed levels . But stress lately has me stifled..I smiled so much during this video..I wanted something mindless to do to kinda bring me back to earth without dwelling too much.. so now I'm going around the house looking at every day objects to put faces on.. giving myself permission as you say to just pick basic shapes.. don't worry about being a Monet..& let things just spring out of my pencil..PLUS your smile is very contagious.. my first idea was a yellow brick road(so I could follow your path)
with little smiles on every step... then soon I started smiling and of course flowers popped up along my road.. and SHOOT! Before you know i it I have a doodle page..!aha. Mira was right.. smiles follow smiles follow smiles..... thank you for sharing yours

I think I've used some of the simple ideas from your past sketchbook videos this week. I'm working on a larger several piece project so in between just throwing colour on pages without having to think much has kept my brain from either hyperfixating or burning out through all the drafts and research.
What kind of larger projects are you doing? 😊
@@Jippyjay series of paintings with silhouettes of large herbivores and trees they rest with the background sky and ground cover the only colour. So giraffe with acacia tree and camel with saxaul shrub for example.

Oh his name is Dunkin or Duncan. It’s a play on turducken (turkey, duck, chicken) but I took out the turkey and that brought me to Dunkin!

I keep getting serious pencil envy every time you bust out your Prismas - I would absolutely love to have the full set of Prismas but sadly I think that even with several years of saving up they will be forever beyond my budget 😢 They are just my perfect pencils and I miss using them a lot! 😂
