Hi Mel so glad that I got 2 clutches and two card holder for the cheapest price unfortunately it no longer work the hack I just tried and it's up to 725.00 and 295 for the card holders..but still greatful I ran when you said to..love you always a loyal fan
I'm in the States and I discovered the price difference a few months ago from Harrods before the recent price increase. Rakuten also had a 10% rebate for Harrods, so I got the YSL wristlet for $540 and the YSL card case for $198!! I recommend that people be careful to keep their total purchase under the customs limit...otherwise you'll be paying 10% US custom charges.

@@maryamiryan7627 Yes...in London. It's a very large luxury dept store that houses all the major luxury boutiques.
i think the reason why it is cheaper in Harrods UK now is because UK does not charge VAT anymore as a results of Brexit. In any case, thank you for pointing this out. It is life-changing for me! ❤️
Found this video when I was looking for a YSL CASSANDRE MATELASSÉ FLAP POUCH. I wish I could say it worked but unfortunately they figured out your trick and fixed it. Oh well guess it’s full price for me. 😢 But it’s still worth it; having it as a clutch and being able to turn it into a cross body! How can I not get it!

I am so glad I came across your video 💕. I ordered a YSL wallet and then a few hours later order the YSL clutch in burgundy. Both orders placed on June 28th at different times. I received one today and should get the other one next week. It only took 3 days for the wallet to get to the U.S. I’m so excited, thanks for sharing ☺️

Thanks Mel, I think Harrods has caught on, looking at a camera bag, it's RRP on YSL $2550 in Australia, and its the same on Harrods in AUD, especially if delivery to Australia.
Hey Mel! Great video, I’ve also found that Valentino, Christian Louboutin (bags) and Bottega Veneta are all “discounted” on Harrods as well, due to the exchange rate! Valentino is a high percentage I think about 17% and Bottega is around 15%.
I purchased the burgundy clutch two weeks after the video post. I paid $600 after $30 shipping. I wanted black hopefully they will restock.
when i went to harrods in london i ended up buying 2 LV bags, Apparently at the time, (may still be true, but cannot confirm) England LV specifcally was 10% cheaper than any other country for whatever reason. Plus the VAT savings, plus the conversion. it was amazing! I save HUNDREDS of dollards

Hi Mel, I'm not sure if you are ever going to see this comment but i just wanted to thank you coming up with the felt organizer for the ysl wristlet with samorga. I was initially a bit concerned if this bag would work out for me since i had to diy the chain to make it a sling bag but i have no regrets because the chain and organizer works amazing!!! I'm not sure if anyone else had the same concerns as i did on whether the organizer slips out when you open the bag (when the chain is on your shoulders) but I've tested it out and its so snug in the bag that it doesn't really slip out at all especially when you have things inside. It does slip a slight bit only when the bag is empty.
The Ssense sales are the best!! Sometimes up to 70% off! Would recommand to wait at the end of the season to shop!

I went to the Harrods website while watching your video the other day. I was able to get the last one in the burgandy color. Black sold out awhile ago! I am super excited to get it as it is on its way and will be “home” this Friday! I will be in search of the insert you showed as well! This will be my first YSL. Their range is improving! I remember last year when I discovered this hack it wasn’t so useful as they didn’t have as many bags but looks like their range is expanding so hopefully this come in the future x

@@MelinMelbourne my first order was a Sunset Chain Wallet in black $1730 (last one) and a leather uptown clutch at $450, then I went back in and found their last one of baby uptown totes in cream at $1953. I just purchased my clutch last night (I love in the us) I wish that I could insert a photo, but I was certainly charged tax on my purchase. Maybe they’ve caught on. $570 USD for the clutch, $34.20 USD in taxes and $30 USD for shipping totaling $634.20. Still a great deal tho.

Looks like Harrods caught on because all their prices are now standard price. Ssense also doesn’t carry YSL bags anymore.
