Looks like an interesting board for a higher end NAS or home lab. Waiting for this to get on Ali.

ordered one, nothing seems to offer this much sata/ m.2 in a mitx form factor. would be nice to get a similar board with an epyc 4004 cpu. (28 pci lanes on epyc vs 20 on a i5-13500T)

This is exactly what I have been looking, but is just hard pass when its Intel. Intels 13 and 14th gen CPU are a lottery at best if they fry or not. If you make an AMD bord with aprox. the same feature set I'll throw money at you right away,

how about the PCIe x16 slot? can I spilt to 2 x8 channel or 4x4 channels

LGA 1700 CPUs don’t support any bifurcation setup more complicated than dual x8, so 8+4+4 or 4x4 is definitely not going to be a thing. Whether it supports dual x8 is up to the manufacturer, but if all you’re after is multiple NVMe support, I’d say you should go for Ryzen 5000 or 7000, as CPUs and most boards fully support 4x4 bifurcation on the main PCIe slot.

Given that the only function that W680 uniquely has is unbuffered ECC support, I don’t think it’s really worth it?
