Can someone appreciate his editing skill? This channel is awesome! P.S: I own the 13 mini and never regretted choosing this over the 13 pro max despite the fact that I used to own the 12 pro max. That phone was behemoth and heavy (for me though). I totally agree when he said that this mini is for busy people. It just makes my life lighter these days. I hope Apple won't erase this from their lineup next year!
I’m looking at getting one of these just now and this is by far the best review I’ve seen so far, I’m sold 💪 Size is absolutely everything for me, I’m just not into big phones, the smaller the better and if Apple ever do away with ‘mini’ phones I’ll be looking elsewhere. Most reviews have so much focus on the battery life but seriously, unless you’re a professional ‘RUclipsr’, if you’re on your phone for more than six hours a day then you have a problem !!! Best way you can extend your battery life is by getting a good book and talking to actual humans !
Man… I cancelled my 13pro order and got this instead. Thanks E! Your review is spot on ! I really like this small size. Truly reminiscent design to the iPhone 4S and 5 which I love dearly. P.S. My little finger is thanking me too. *”Unpretentious device which does everything that other flagship devices do with finesse!”* summarised perfectly.
I have been waited for the smaller phone since years then finally replaced my iPhone XS by 13 mini. Its best phone i had ever, 5.4" is still big enough screen to write emails, posts on socials and watching YT videos or gaming. No more larger phone ever if possible. It lays in pocket perfectly no matter you're in work or on sport activities like running or biking, and completely no issues with battery working time - one day of very active up to two days when i am not using phone a lot.
👏🏻 Congratulations! I have watched endless '12 mini vs 13 mini' YT videos, and your video is BY FAR the BEST. And this is coming from a veteran content consumer and a tech guy that can rip apart software and hardware and reconstruct them without breaking a sweat.

Bravo! 👏👏👏 Please keep up with this amazing work!!!👍👍👍 Greetings from Germany 👋☺️ Btw, I was watching your video on my absolutely beloved iPhone 13 mini in Product Red! 🥰
You convinced me to get a 13 mini after my S8 bites the dust, Android manufacturers no longer make truely flagship small phones, so I'll have to switch to apple, but that's not so bad since I use a Mac (M1 is truly impressive for what I need it for) so I'll probably enjoy the ecosystem
Exactly, I don’t get the point of the Samsung A line at all, they are “wannabe flagships” that don’t meet the expectations from their look at all. Their build is always terrible and they just don’t look very good. I WISH they would make a phone like the iPhone SE with competent hardware, a GOOD build quality, with glass and metal frame. how hard could it be for Samsung to just make an s7, 8 or 9 sized phone with that quality and updated hardware.
@@throwshitatthewall well they had the S10e not that long ago but even that was a bit bigger than the iPhones mini, and it's getting old now. I'm thinking the problem is that android manufacturers usually have better hardware, but if they make a small phone, they can't fit a big battery, a great camera, and a powerful processor while apple can make a phone with a small battery and an efficient processor that is is still very decent thanks to their optimization.
Just upgraded from X to 13 mini, imo this is the best phone to get. When I first pick it up at the store and play around it, it feels refreshing. Honestly if you compare the screen size side by side with X, visually you don't miss too much of the estate. You can operate the phone with one hand without that stupid pop-up thingy that ppl use to hold their phone, the size just feels right. Camera works fantastic and battery is fine if you don't use that much. I think for majority of us, mini is actually fantastic.
I was using iPhone 6 for 7 Years now and for most part I didn't feel like changing it as it was getting all my work done perfectly, but as I was stuck with iOS 12 and most of the apps were upgrading to iOS 15, I thought that now is the time to upgrade. When I went to the Apple store, I was inclined to buy 13 pro, but the size put me off, cause it really felt big as compared to iPhone 6 that I was using. But then when I compared it with iPhone 13 Mini, it hit the sweet spot. I immediately feel in Love with the size. So I gifted myself a Valentine Gift - Haha (Bought on 14th Feb 2022) The device is perfect balance and right for the single hand use. Cheers.
I think 5G is a big battery drainer. I live in a 4G area. Dark mode activates at 6pm. I'm not a gamer but I do use RUclips, Whatsapp, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook with the occasional Netflix or HBO and after around 5:15 SoT, I hit 32-35% battery depending on what I've been doing. Usually though, at around 4:45-5:00hrs of SoT it's at 42%. I balance the usage of my 13 mini with mi iPad 8 and at the end of most 14 hr days, my iPhone's at 40% battery left with an average SoT of 4:50hrs and my iPad loses around 15% battery a day. I never let either hit 30% so I charge my iPad every 5 days or so before that happens and the lowest my iPhone's been is at exactly 30% after 6:13hrs of SoT. I think it's tantamount to a XR with 86% battery capacity tbh.
I love these types of videos, where the footage is mainly pointed at the phone, in many angles, all minimalistic and pretty. I usually comment really little but here you deserve it, I enjoyed all your footage. (I love the photography) Greetings from Italy. 🇮🇹

Hahahahahaha, that intro! 🤣. I agree with you E! Best phone out there! Long life for the Mini! Impecable video and content… as always! Such a joy to watch your videos.
I’ve switched from a 14 Pro Max to a 13 Mini last week, and I have to say, the only hit I took was on the battery time, but I have the MagSafe Battery Pack for the busier days. But even so, the battery lasts a day easily on my use. I’m really happy to finally have a phone that fits on my 10yo small hands. I’m really, really glad with my choice.
I was about to upgrade from iPhone 12 PRO to 13 PRO. Then I bought the 13 Mini and now I wish they will never discontinue this size. It’s the phone I like most, I kind of feel I traveled back to 2010, when I had the iPhone 4. I feel younger 😀
my favorite video about the iPhone 13 mini thx for the info I plan on getting one because I’m tired of having a big phone and I hope you make more video about the iPhone 13 mini
That’s what I always say too! Already have the iPhone 13 mini (Product Red, 256GB) and I just looooove it coming from a heavy paddle of a XR! 😅 The iPad mini 6 is on my list though! I think those two are just the perfect combination! ✌️😎
I had the 12 in white for a week and could feel my hand get sore from holding it a lot. I ordered the red 13 mini a week later and I was lucky to get that wow factor. Breathtaking. I couldn’t believe how it felt and weighed. 1:59 how did you get that background?
I really enjoyed the “meh” factor explanation. I went from 12 mini to 13 to avoid the same issues the 12 mini had and it’s a nuisance to hold and the battery drains a little quick because it is a bigger screen and more pixels. But other than the physical size and battery it’s identical to the mini now which is awesome ! So I’m switching to the 13 mini
Hey 👋🏻 since Widgy keeps restricting the link I’ve provided in the description, I decided to create a quick tutorial on how to create a similar widget yourself. Feel free to check out the video that I just posted: ruclips.net/video/jhCQevz18N0/видео.html
I bumped into this vid as a vid suggestion in my home and man I'm so happy to see another in depth view of iPhone mini series. I was wondering tho if there's a vid on how you set up your home screen as same to the 1:58 of this vid? Thanks!! I'm happy I subscribed.
Hi! Once again, a great presentation for a great iPhone. I last told about trading my Blue 13Mini (128GB) for a Starlight (256 GB). Well, I traded again but this time for a Red 256GB. I know, crazy but this is the keeper! Quite possibly my last iPhone, period! You echo my thinking. Battery life is not an issue mainly because I’m never far from a charger but also because I have to plug in CarPlay, the phone is recharged while driving. The Apple Wallet is a great minimalist feature for me. I have one credit card, military ID and Driver’s License. That’s all I need on most days, the rest are in a slim wallet. The wallet also makes it easier to hold my Mini securely. An added bonus. I found a unique case on eBay for about $15. It’s an aluminum frame with both front and back glass. The aluminum is the same red as the Mini making it very well protected. It’s a two piece design held together by magnets and while the case adds a very slight amount of size and weight, it also adds structural integrity to the Mini, making it darn near indestructible. It’s like giving the Mini an extra frame over the original frame. The tempered glass front and back the glass on both sides. As you say, “Why not?”😁. The red color of aluminum case frame , matches the iPhone’s red aluminum frame. Looks great without adding bulk like most cases. Just do a search for Aluminum case/bumper for iPhone 13 Mini. Lots to choose from. I like your presentations. Take care.
Thanks for the high quality very enjoyable video and for your honest and well documented opinion in it. I'm an iPhone 13 user and it suits me very well. I work 8 hours a day and my phone literally lasts 24h with a single charge. Plus, i don't use even half of it's features because i'm not a tech worker.
Merci for the video! 🙌 I really like the idea of a meh-factor 😒😁 - I realized that I really don’t want to obsess over a phone and freak out if I lose/break it. After the 13’s were released, for about a week I was ready to upgrade and was torn by the impossible dilemma: should I get a 13 pro or a 13 mini? My main factors for 13 pro were: ➕: cameras; ➖: I’ll be even more addicted to the too fancy & heavy piece of tech. For 13 mini: ➕: the size, ➖: the battery capacity. 🤔🤯 After breaking my head and watching way more youtube reviews than I want to admit, I got so fed up with the topic that I changed my mind to buy a new phone altogether 😅 Got repaired the broken screen of my iPhone 8 Plus, and it’s still going strong after 3+ years of use 💁🏻♀️ now my opinion has solidified: if it breaks and it will be time to decide - 13 mini it is 😙👌
Wow this is exactly me rn, except with my xs max! The 13 mini seems like the best phone for me as I’m not about that “big phone life” anymore, and I don’t want it dominating my life. But my phone still works perfectly fine (well, except for the battery - my battery health is at 84%) and I feel bad about wanting to upgrade so soon..
I’ve had all the phones, Samsung Notes, iPhone Pro Maxes, LG V series (RIP)… My iPhone 13 mini is the best phone I’ve ever owned. And yes, it’s the best on the market.
I think you are very much underrated! Quality and detail of your videos, top notch! Your energy and style, Awesome!! Keep up the awesome work and we hope the algorithm can help you out more!! Once again, good work!!
Great review. I purchased my IPhone 13 mini last October….and unregrettably, I’ve never looked back to owning a smaller phone. Personally, it just makes perfect sense given what you mentioned. Busy people need a more compact phone to what’s necessary in a phone this size. I’m sad that Apple is doing away with the mini. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this amazing phone.
I bought the iPhone 13 pro max… and it was just too heavy and big for my small hands. I also only have maybe 3hr display time a day. So I sold the 13 pro max and got the 13 mini. And I’m very satisfied now! It’s perfect and the battery is very good 👍
I had the 12 Pro Max but finally got tired of the SuperSlab. maybe because it was ruining the pockets of my work shirts. So I downsized to the 13 Pro. I had had and sold a 12 mini due to the battery life but I missed it. So what did I do? I bought a 13 Mini as well. In Midnight which is a delightful color. I use it from time to time and have started using it for beta testing. The 13 Pro is my every day phone. I really like the camera improvements, especially macro mode. The 13 mini's battery is much improved, as you say. It is everything you've mentioned and more. It's a great phone and I'd like to see more people give it a chance.
Hi there I’m new on your channel. I would like to know the app name of the flip clock I sow on this video. Thank you. I love this video. Makes me decide to buy the iPhone mini!
"A phone for busy people" is such a great way to put it. One-handed use is under appreciated when you're out and about. Furthermore, for many people, their phone is a companion device that spends much of its time on a desk or table while another device (iPad, MacBook, etc.) is used. These folks don't intend to use their phone as their primary consumption device.
I started using iPhone again when i bought the SE ( 2016) as my second phone but soon became my primary phone. Subsequently i change to iPhone X , then iPhone 12 mini before recently changing to iPhone 13 mini. I really love it. I find the mini is much more comfortable to use everyday. It is not heavy because it does not use stainless steel. The reality is iPhone 13 mini is the least popular iPhone model compare to others . This is evidence by the readily available Mini phones .While the Pro models are sold out . Maybe that has been apple strategy all along by convincing consumers to get the pro models instead of the regular Iphone by showing important features that owning the Pro is the must even though most consumers don’t need it.
actually i love smaller phones but i dont use tv or ipad for entertainment so i took 13 pro - enough for me for movies or games (me not gamers either) and for someone with 178cm height and big palm like, 13pro will fit 😁 if we remember back then, at some era, phones wes smaller even smallest - like Nokia 8520 😬➰ₕₑ➰ₕₑ➰ₕₑ and the minis are BEAUTIFUL❤️
I recently bought the iPhone SE 2020, and within just a month of purchase ,the battery health went down to 99%. The funny and ironic part is that I didn’t even use it at a normal capacity the past month. And it has just gone through 26 charge cycles as on date. Should I be worried or get a replacement?
Thank you for the excellent review... buying my iPhone 13 mini today, downgrading from the iPhone 13 pro max. Its just too big. Lastly please where do you buy your t-shirt?

@March I definitely still recommend it. Works solid. In fact, I like it even more now. Unfortunate no more new mini lineup for at least a few years.

Got repaired the broken screen of my iPhone 8 Plus, and it’s still going strong after 3+ years of use 💁🏻♀️ now my opinion has solidified: if it breaks and it will be time to decide - 13 mini it is 😙👌
Wow this is exactly me rn, except with my xs max! The 13 mini seems like the best phone for me as I’m not about that “big phone life” anymore, and I don’t want it dominating my life. But my phone still works perfectly fine (well, except for the battery - my battery health is at 84%) and I feel bad about wanting to upgrade so soon..
O tamanho da tela do iPhone 13 mini é quase do mesmo tamanho do 8 plus…por incrível q pareça
@@thiagobrito6609 You trippin.
The transitions and effects of the video are fantastic ! Great job!
I’ve had all the phones, Samsung Notes, iPhone Pro Maxes, LG V series (RIP)…
My iPhone 13 mini is the best phone I’ve ever owned. And yes, it’s the best on the market.
Want to know what app is used for the clock widget!
Great video, E. Love the effects and nice shots.
“The 13 mini is for busy people” YES! Exactly why I I got it
Am I right? 🙂
I think you are very much underrated! Quality and detail of your videos, top notch! Your energy and style, Awesome!! Keep up the awesome work and we hope the algorithm can help you out more!! Once again, good work!!
Amazing editing and review, this channel deserves so much more praise
Great review. I purchased my IPhone 13 mini last October….and unregrettably, I’ve never looked back to owning a smaller phone. Personally, it just makes perfect sense given what you mentioned. Busy people need a more compact phone to what’s necessary in a phone this size. I’m sad that Apple is doing away with the mini. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this amazing phone.
Hopefully Apple keeps this design as the next SE models.
It's a great phone and I'd like to see more people give it a chance.
...... Words can't do justice to this intro. Big Fan.
Hahah thanks 😊
Can you tell me what’s the clock and calendar widget you using? It looks great. Thanks in advance
What is the calendar widget you use?
Thank you thank you thank you for your videos! You deserve a lot bro! I hope it will come eventually. All the best wishes
Love my 13 mini! Great review as always !
Love all your vids E
Can you charge the phone from the magsafe battery by using a cable? That should get you another 15-20% if possible.
What's the epic foto filter app you're using at 8:20 ?? I upgraded to iOS 15 just for that but it's not there 😅🥲
These are the new photographic styles which I’m not sure if they are device specific
Hi there I’m new on your channel. I would like to know the app name of the flip clock I sow on this video. Thank you. I love this video. Makes me decide to buy the iPhone mini!
What calendar and clock widget are you using?
After the intro, I immediately subscribed 😂😂😂
Lmaooo the skit at the beginning 😂😂
Haha thanks 😊
"A phone for busy people" is such a great way to put it. One-handed use is under appreciated when you're out and about. Furthermore, for many people, their phone is a companion device that spends much of its time on a desk or table while another device (iPad, MacBook, etc.) is used. These folks don't intend to use their phone as their primary consumption device.
come on, your channel deserve at least 500k subscribers. very high quality. keep it up!
Thanks for a great review! My Mini is on order looking forward to putting it through its paces!
Hey 👋
Great review …How much better is the battery life compared to the 12 mini.. thanks 😃
Significantly better. It is a reason to think 13 instead of 12
@@ThisIsE thanks 👍🏻
Thank you for the video 🙂
My pleasure 😇
What I have noticed most moving from a 12 pro to a 13 mini is how much cooler the phone is when watching videos or playing games.
The quality of your videos is amazing!
Wonderful video, to which I agree in all points. Keep up the good work and lets hope on a continuance of the series with Apple
Which dock/ hub are you using under the desk at 8:34 ? And how did you install it? Thanks
Just out of this world work! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Please keep it up!
Just loved watching ❤️
Kudos to you my man. Great vid
Thanks Mat!
actually i love smaller phones but i dont use tv or ipad for entertainment so i took 13 pro - enough for me for movies or games (me not gamers either) and for someone with 178cm height and big palm like, 13pro will fit 😁
if we remember back then, at some era, phones wes smaller even smallest - like Nokia 8520 😬➰ₕₑ➰ₕₑ➰ₕₑ and the minis are BEAUTIFUL❤️
i got the iphone 13 mini yesterday as my first phone 10/10 fits in my hnad so well as a 12 year old and its a very very nncie phone i love it
Congrats
ahh 😩 the perfection oh this review ❤️
Haha thanks 😊
Try using Low Power mode, you will notice battery life lasts much longer with minimal impact and no need for the battery pack.
One of my favorite new tech channels.
👏
Love my 13mini it’s perfect. The true successor to Apples greatest design: the iPhone 4.
Great video! Quick question how do you access the control center whiteout swiping down at 3:56
Great job! I traded my 13M (128GB) for 13M(256GB). Not going to a 14!!! Or anything else unless it’s a 15M😎
My man 👊🏻
That editing 😍💯
Bro, u r underrated !
U deserve a lot more subscribers and views 🔥
Which is this gorgeous hour/whether widget in you home screen? Excellent quality video. Liked and subscribed.
So surprised to see you vlogging :) Good job 👍👍Great video
Wowww. Loved this video more than iPhone itself. incredible editing skills. I dont need to watch any other iphone 13 mini video now. Made my decision.
@thisisE what can you say about battery health? How long should it stay at a 100% after just purchasing it?
If you charge it slow and on cable it should be at 100 even after the first year
I recently bought the iPhone SE 2020, and within just a month of purchase ,the battery health went down to 99%. The funny and ironic part is that I didn’t even use it at a normal capacity the past month. And it has just gone through 26 charge cycles as on date. Should I be worried or get a replacement?
Congratz on 50k subs!
Thank you for the excellent review... buying my iPhone 13 mini today, downgrading from the iPhone 13 pro max. Its just too big. Lastly please where do you buy your t-shirt?
Great video, E. Love your style and very useful comments and information - thanks!
Crazy genius intro man!:))) great video and great phone:)
Much appreciated 😊
