@@Dark.Syndicate I don't believe blastcap will one-hit direct hit but I'm not sure about the explosion. Also the explosion is bugged, it's suppose to be like a semtex like how it was in mw2, but now it insta-explodes on impact instead of it being timed.
I met them here and there about maybe 3 times a week playing almost everyday so idk where yall are getting these “demons” from, for me it was always just people going for knife camos even if they were annoying it it wasn’t for more than 2 games and that’s only if they happens to stay in the lobby

@KAACHOW the best way to run it now is the sa mx supressor, the defender barrel (even tho it's nerfed🙄), the match grade stock, the phantom rear grip, and the bolt for faster ROF.
The best change for me was the sights being centered and not swaying for a moment after ADS. I pretty much only play HC and that frequently caused me to lose gunfights. It feels much better now.
WZ is separate game-mode with its own balancing. For regular multiplayer MW2 MRs are straight down trash and the MW3 ones, that were somewhat useful (Interceptor) are getting nerfed by each coming patch.
Couple of other changes: the “snap” when ads-ing with LMGs seems to be fixed, but now stun grenades seem to be bugged. They are still stopping you from turning, but they aren’t slowing down your move speed (with LMGs you seem to be moving faster than base), so it is a very strange situation.

I think that the Sidewinder Jak Thunder Kit isn't buffed in its accelerationg fire rate, and it got buffed for how long you can release and re-pull the trigger while maintaining the previously reached higher fire rate.

I’m feeling the same way! Why keep nerfing sprint to fire if they’re trying to encourage a faster gameplay? You essentially can’t rush with those guns as much anymore.
It makes sense that the downside to the BAS-B (fast ttk, manageable recoil) and MCW (solid TTK, no recoil) would be decreased mobility, but the Taq-E already has a trade-off for its fast initial TTK in that if you miss some of your shots early, the TTK falls off a cliff and takes a sec to reset.

Really happy to see the JAK Raven get some love, definitely my favorite aftermarket kit but it performed noticeably worse/less consistent than without it pre-patch.

Have you looked at the new time to switch from zoomed sights to red dot on some of the dual optics? That's the biggest nerf in my opinion. Faster to switch to a pistol now than it is to switch to your second optic which makes them much more useless on marksman rifles as a versatile option.
Idk about that. In a lot of situations sure but if I'm running a sniper/marksman rifle or any gun with a higher zoom optic, secondary is generally faster especially if you build it for mobility rather than range and accuracy. All depends on how you build your kit. I'm just sulking about my dual optic setup not needing to rely on my pistol.

How do we feel about covert sneakers ? Although I do like the addition of stealth gameplay being added in, i just dont agree with it being 100% dampened footstep sounds, feels as if there is no counter play and with how fast dying feels in the game it feels unfair at times
I still have the glitch in the menus where i can’t delete a custom blueprint, your only option is to overwrite a current one, and you also have to save it twice for it to work. The first time you click save, it just says the camo was removed. Super weird bug I’ve experienced since szn 1 reloaded

At this point they might as well just give it a full auto mode and move it to the battle rifle category where they clearly seem to think it belongs. I'm also a bit disappointed at all of the nerfs thrown at the JAK BFB. Yes, it was a bit overpowered, but it was also the only thing that made certain guns even remotely viable. Even with the buffs to the Sidewinder's recoil, I still don't see that gun as being particularly competitive without this attachment, especially when using the JAK Thunder LMG kit. It seems the developers think this too, since to go along with the reduced recoil benefits and bullet velocity reduction of the JAK BFB, they improved the Sidewinder's recoil slightly and increased its bullet velocity. This means the Sidewinder's bullet velocity with the JAK BFB is now 492m/s instead of the 443m/s it would've been if they hadn't buffed it to go along with the JAK BFB's nerf. I imagine the pre-patch and post-patch recoil patterns for this combo probably don't look that much different either. In my opinion, they should've left the recoil benefits on the JAK BFB where they were, nerfed the handling like they did, then only decrease the bullet velocity by 7-10% (instead of 18%) and added a range reduction of 2-3% like many of the silencers have. This combined with the Sidewinder's buffed bullet velocity would give you 540m/s to 558m/s, which is about what it was pre-patch.

im really disappointed they didnt include a solution for the RGL-80 grenade launcher for hardcore game modes. especially search and destroy where people spam them across the map at the other spawn at the start of the round
@Indeficiency I still enjoy hardcore mode overall. i like having no HUD and it introduces a more strategic feel to peeking corners and navigating the maps. It works well with this game since core mode has such a high TTK. Bc of that, core has its own annoyances with knifers and quickscopers. Single shot kill weapons have a big advantage in core mode. In HC, pretty much any gun is viable. I have played core in every other COD besides this one
I feel like the entire update was very modest. Nothing in the meta will change after that. Also i feel like they're going into the wrong Direction by nerfing the few good guns to the level of the ones that suck. Holger is almost at lmg ads speeds now. Also whats up with them nerfing the sab-50, and other mw2 marksman rifles. I have never seen them being used in this game at all.
They seem to be very careful with the nerfs. Like slowly nerfing the handling of the mcw/basb. Shame the crossbow is still bad, and the sidewinder kit isn't that much better
When talking about sprintout times, I think the tac sprint to fire time should be the priority in these videos (if you're only gonna mention one). It's gonna occur more often for most players. Just a thought. Thanks for the content
The holder ads nerf is a bit much but Jesus the mcw nerf is rough. It already wasn’t very good on ttk just ranked because it has low recoil but damn. + sucks there isn’t really a flex AR like there was in old cod ranked

I dunno what I'm seeing in the Sidewinder & JAK Thunder recoil patterns, but it appears like you've left frame markers that say "Remove" in-line with the grey on the wall. Some pretty big changes, surprising that the longbow got even more buffs tbh, even if it makes sense in line with the rest of the snipers, did it really *need* that change?
A couple of weapons are still locked for me despite doing the required number of daily challenges required to unlock it. I can't use the FR 5.56 or the TAQ ERADICATOR. I can't use the jack raven kit for the MCW.
Ace, would you consider doing another video like the one you did you last year about whether high velocity was a wasted attachment or not. Especially in regards to the muzzles and barrels. Maybe you could wrap it into a video regarding updates to the ranked play classes. It really feels like small differences matter in this game, having switched between the billeted brake and flash hider. Maybe you’ll shake up the meta.
I believe that they also made the attachments that were listed in the unlock screen for a weapon like the iron sights for the longbow available via armory unlock, if i read the patch notes correctly.

Honestly glad the Raven got a buff. It’s a kit I’ve been enjoying a lot. With the ninja vest and stalker boots you can get some pretty crazy strafe potential out of it.
Theres a bug currently with the conversion kit on the longbow. If you run a 10 round mag while using the conversion kit, your entire barrel goes invisible and you maintain 20 rounds still. Was wondering if you could look into whether the benefits of the 10 round mag are still applied despite having 20 rounds on an upcoming video regarding the longbow kit
Ace, did you notice that in private match you can equip the Backsaw Conversion Kit for the Holger 556? it might be a bug cause its not supposed to be visible. anyways the description does not reflect whatsoever aesthetically or statistically and also the official patch note description does not match what can be seen currently in the game. Any idea what might be going on?
Will they ever fix the bug that when you finish using a Wilson, your gun won't stop firing until you literally have no ammo left? Doesn't matter if you die, it just unloads the moment you spawn again. I was getting this bug in MW2 and it just carried over into MW3.
Went away for like 2 months then barely came back and was like why the spx80 feel so off 🤦🏽♂️ then I see shi got nerfed😩 been using it pretty much every single time since mw2, that slower ads throws me off so much
its completely broken, you can attach magazines that don't do anything for one, and in general I feel like it's not doing anything. I think it's the same as with the AMR kit where it's broken out of the box and we have to wait another month or so until they make it behave as intended
It supposed to block the bolt, the ammo type and the magazine options or it would be bugged otherwise. I can't do proper testing, but I think that it should give higher one shot ability till the stated minimum damage range, unlike the base version where its one shot ability is its maximum damage range.
I have a near 3.0 kd with the dm56...this nerf is annoying when literally nobody but me uses it. It's a 4 shot kill semi in a game of 5 shot kill automatic weapons. Why nerf it?????

I’m just glad I got all the cameo challenges done for all the modern warfare three guns before the patch but they still need to fix the spawns. The spawns are terrible.

The marksman rifles from MW2 are awful and they still got nerfed? What’s the point of using them? I’ve been waiting for a slight buff for the spr and others. By the time you load another round after a hit marker from 12 meters you’re already going to be spawning again. Terrible decision imo
"Remember spawning is faster than reloading !" this should be the message when you launch the game. Reloading imo is to slow in this game compared to the movement. Healing also was very slow, now got a buff is better but still could be faster.
I have guns that I completed the armory unlock goals but they are still base locked. The Striker 9, Taq Eradicator are still locked. I assume this is a glitch? Any fix?

They FINALLY added pistol fast draw back to the grip on the 9mm Daemon pistol. It’s unlisted in the patch-notes but they did fix that issue.

There were stealth buffs too. Crossbow is a 1tap now within 52m and I think m16 might have less recoil. Probably more changes too

How do we feel about covert sneakers ? Although I do like the addition of stealth gameplay being added in, i just dont agree with it being 100% dampened footstep sounds, feels as if there is no counter play and with how fast dying feels in the game it feels unfair at times
I still have the glitch in the menus where i can’t delete a custom blueprint, your only option is to overwrite a current one, and you also have to save it twice for it to work. The first time you click save, it just says the camo was removed. Super weird bug I’ve experienced since szn 1 reloaded

I realized yesterday if you add aiming stability attachments, you can basically completely erase idle sway.
Yep, this has been the case since MW19
that one red laser attachment (that isn't visible) that adds aim stability is one of my favorite picks for this exact reason

On a more serious note, I'm not sure why they felt they needed to nerf the MCW 6.8 since it already has one of the worst damage profiles anong the "Marksmen" rifles with no one-shot headshot range. At this point they might as well just give it a full auto mode and move it to the battle rifle category where they clearly seem to think it belongs.
I'm also a bit disappointed at all of the nerfs thrown at the JAK BFB. Yes, it was a bit overpowered, but it was also the only thing that made certain guns even remotely viable. Even with the buffs to the Sidewinder's recoil, I still don't see that gun as being particularly competitive without this attachment, especially when using the JAK Thunder LMG kit. It seems the developers think this too, since to go along with the reduced recoil benefits and bullet velocity reduction of the JAK BFB, they improved the Sidewinder's recoil slightly and increased its bullet velocity. This means the Sidewinder's bullet velocity with the JAK BFB is now 492m/s instead of the 443m/s it would've been if they hadn't buffed it to go along with the JAK BFB's nerf. I imagine the pre-patch and post-patch recoil patterns for this combo probably don't look that much different either. In my opinion, they should've left the recoil benefits on the JAK BFB where they were, nerfed the handling like they did, then only decrease the bullet velocity by 7-10% (instead of 18%) and added a range reduction of 2-3% like many of the silencers have. This combined with the Sidewinder's buffed bullet velocity would give you 540m/s to 558m/s, which is about what it was pre-patch.

What about the BAS-B damage nerf? Says its not a 3-shot kill anymore. Maximum damage to the head at max range is 49. They basically destroyed it.
SbMM is cranked to 1000% now that season 2 dropped. Last weekend felt great. It felt like SBMM was turned way down. Now though, its unplayable.
im really disappointed they didnt include a solution for the RGL-80 grenade launcher for hardcore game modes. especially search and destroy where people spam them across the map at the other spawn at the start of the round

@Indeficiency I still enjoy hardcore mode overall. i like having no HUD and it introduces a more strategic feel to peeking corners and navigating the maps. It works well with this game since core mode has such a high TTK. Bc of that, core has its own annoyances with knifers and quickscopers. Single shot kill weapons have a big advantage in core mode. In HC, pretty much any gun is viable. I have played core in every other COD besides this one

I feel like the entire update was very modest. Nothing in the meta will change after that. Also i feel like they're going into the wrong Direction by nerfing the few good guns to the level of the ones that suck. Holger is almost at lmg ads speeds now. Also whats up with them nerfing the sab-50, and other mw2 marksman rifles. I have never seen them being used in this game at all.
They seem to be very careful with the nerfs. Like slowly nerfing the handling of the mcw/basb. Shame the crossbow is still bad, and the sidewinder kit isn't that much better

When talking about sprintout times, I think the tac sprint to fire time should be the priority in these videos (if you're only gonna mention one). It's gonna occur more often for most players.

The holder ads nerf is a bit much but Jesus the mcw nerf is rough. It already wasn’t very good on ttk just ranked because it has low recoil but damn. + sucks there isn’t really a flex AR like there was in old cod ranked
No matter what they do with mw2 guns, if they don't remove or decrease the gun kick animation to MW3 standards, they will be useless.

The Modern Warfare II weapon mobility buff also noticeably buffed base movement speeds on Marksman Rifles and especially LMGs and Sniper Rifles.

MW is a really slow paced COD....it's annoying as F lol. Wayyy too tactical. I'm glad they're doing this.

I dunno what I'm seeing in the Sidewinder & JAK Thunder recoil patterns, but it appears like you've left frame markers that say "Remove" in-line with the grey on the wall.
Some pretty big changes, surprising that the longbow got even more buffs tbh, even if it makes sense in line with the rest of the snipers, did it really *need* that change?
A couple of weapons are still locked for me despite doing the required number of daily challenges required to unlock it. I can't use the FR 5.56 or the TAQ ERADICATOR. I can't use the jack raven kit for the MCW.
FAMAS (Avancer) is a real menace with the tac stance buff.
Ace, would you consider doing another video like the one you did you last year about whether high velocity was a wasted attachment or not. Especially in regards to the muzzles and barrels. Maybe you could wrap it into a video regarding updates to the ranked play classes. It really feels like small differences matter in this game, having switched between the billeted brake and flash hider. Maybe you’ll shake up the meta.
Have they fixed the armory glitch? Where guns remain locked safety completing challenges?
I believe that they also made the attachments that were listed in the unlock screen for a weapon like the iron sights for the longbow available via armory unlock, if i read the patch notes correctly.

Honestly glad the Raven got a buff. It’s a kit I’ve been enjoying a lot. With the ninja vest and stalker boots you can get some pretty crazy strafe potential out of it.

Theres a bug currently with the conversion kit on the longbow. If you run a 10 round mag while using the conversion kit, your entire barrel goes invisible and you maintain 20 rounds still. Was wondering if you could look into whether the benefits of the 10 round mag are still applied despite having 20 rounds on an upcoming video regarding the longbow kit

Ace, did you notice that in private match you can equip the Backsaw Conversion Kit for the Holger 556? it might be a bug cause its not supposed to be visible. anyways the description does not reflect whatsoever aesthetically or statistically and also the official patch note description does not match what can be seen currently in the game. Any idea what might be going on?
Will they ever fix the bug that when you finish using a Wilson, your gun won't stop firing until you literally have no ammo left? Doesn't matter if you die, it just unloads the moment you spawn again. I was getting this bug in MW2 and it just carried over into MW3.
You might want to look at the vests because the Assassin Vest definitely did not take away your lethal equipment in season 1.

its completely broken, you can attach magazines that don't do anything for one, and in general I feel like it's not doing anything. I think it's the same as with the AMR kit where it's broken out of the box and we have to wait another month or so until they make it behave as intended
It supposed to block the bolt, the ammo type and the magazine options or it would be bugged otherwise. I can't do proper testing, but I think that it should give higher one shot ability till the stated minimum damage range, unlike the base version where its one shot ability is its maximum damage range.

I have a near 3.0 kd with the dm56...this nerf is annoying when literally nobody but me uses it. It's a 4 shot kill semi in a game of 5 shot kill automatic weapons. Why nerf it?????

I never understand why they nerf weapons and why they allow us to use the weapons that are no good. Why not just buff them. I'm sick of nerfing especially when I go to work and come back and everything changed. It makes it so annoying then I'm back on RUclips to figure out more crud this is why people stop playing the game

The marksman rifles from MW2 are awful and they still got nerfed? What’s the point of using them? I’ve been waiting for a slight buff for the spr and others. By the time you load another round after a hit marker from 12 meters you’re already going to be spawning again. Terrible decision imo
"Remember spawning is faster than reloading !" this should be the message when you launch the game. Reloading imo is to slow in this game compared to the movement. Healing also was very slow, now got a buff is better but still could be faster.
