I'm really sure I'm not the only one to think of the "TITANIC", when listening to this song. It became such an inspiration for James Horner's "Take Her to Sea, Mr. Murdoch", too. I don't understand how such a beautiful song like this got nominated for a Razzie! Some people simply have no taste in music! In my mind, this song should have at least been Oscar nominated for Best Original Song!
@@joetheman8550 The issue is that she was the first vocalist to use what would later become our modern "Autotune" sound - highly processed and layered, loads of acoustic treatment and a bit of echo, like a one person choir section. And for a lot of early people who listened to it, it did sound overly processed and fake. Now, everything sounds like this? Go figure. What a difference 30 years makes in musical tastes. Thankfully she has moved away from this/it's been smoothed out quite a lot due to modern technology. A Day Without Rain is amazing in how it hits that fine line between processed and not. It appears as if she recorded the same lines several times and overdubbed them to get that sound on the album, with loads of wide 8-10 note chords (yay modern sequencing software!) underneath.
When everyone finds their soul mate, when everyone has beautiful children and achieves true happiness in life, when we as a species reach beyond the stars with meaning and heart, this song will be playing.

ラルクの〆と言えばこの曲😭🌈
Enya and her voice/music cannot be from this world...but from a better one light years away.
Her voice urges the imagination of that strong and soft force that creates this world.
IMMORTALS...this song will outlive 99% of the songs in history
I see Asmirandah
❤ I have been listening to Enya's music now for more than 30 years and I think I will never stop 😊
I don't understand how such a beautiful song like this got nominated for a Razzie! Some people simply have no taste in music! In my mind, this song should have at least been Oscar nominated for Best Original Song!
Tone deaf critics
Love enya’s music. Very calm soothing relaxing
When everyone finds their soul mate, when everyone has beautiful children and achieves true happiness in life, when we as a species reach beyond the stars with meaning and heart, this song will be playing.
Yes

If her voice had physical form, I would be on my knees proposing. She has one of the most enchanting voices I have ever heard.
Sinto uma paz e uma tranquilidade ao ouvir Enya...maravilhoso
エンヤの歌で一番好きです
My Best Favorite song of Enya
Every song on this jewel of an album is 2-3-4 minutes of heaven.
One of the best melodies I ve heard.
Her work is one of the best for the “new age” genre. I listen to her work everyday.
This song is so epic and beautiful. It’s perfect for some epic, exciting, yet hard journey for a story
The voice of an angel. Very unique.
Enya at her very best. This song reminds me of my great childhood memories. Love you Enya!
This is more than my childhood. As an adult now, and after hearing this song 100s of times, this is heaven. This song has been playing in the back of my head my whole life. I will always love this song and Enya. 💋💋💋

マジで神曲だろ
A song that’s a 100 times more memorable than the movie
A beautiful song for a beautiful film.
My God. Finally I have found it 28 years after its initial release!!!
I remember the advert for the Toyota Carina E which I loved as a 12 year old because of the soundtrack it was set to. I never knew the artist but i have remembered the melody since I saw that advert all those years ago.
Strangely it came back to me earlier today and I thought it sounded suspiciously like Enya, so I googled 'Enya Toyota Advert' and here we are! Better late than never!
I LOVE this song
I discovered this 10 years ago, during college. Back then I would have never imagined that I would end up living in Ireland. One can never imagine that songs we listen can sometimes hide the hints of the future
