back in 2014 warren g and bts met for a korean reality show american hustle life which was about a kpop group going to la to experience hip hop culture so for sure that warren g shout makes a lot of sense
Great reaction! I've loved all of JKs solo work so far, but this blew all of them out of the water! As a child of the 80s, I can't get over the throwback sound and MJ references. So, so good! Glad you enjoyed it! There is a choreography music video for this out now, as well. His entire album, Golden, is wonderful. You should also check out BTS, especially if you really like this type of big music video. Thanks for this!
Jungkook is at the top! Oh yeah! He is the main vocalist in BTS, but standing side to side with their 3 other highly capable vocalists (Jin, V and Jimin). Besides these, 3 very talented rappers in RM, Suga and J-hope. RM being the groups leader, Suga their main produser and J-hope their dance leader. They all write and produce their own stuff, solo, but for the group aswell. Not to mention all being highly skilled dancers, rappers and vocalists. They debuted in 2013, a seven member group staying together for now 10 years. They Are like each others family, and love eachother and their fans dearly. Jungkook is their youngest member, and as all the other members, have recently released solo stuff. You have so much to discover ;) Their music catalog is huge, and mix and cross all genres. Just try the song «On, kinetic manifesto», really highlighting the groups qualities. Or: «Outro: tear» live, showing the amazing rap trio in the group. I could go on and on. Remember captions for their songs with mix of korean and english language. Their music always have deeper and meaningful lyrics. The "deep like DNA" lyric is a head-nod to BTS' (his band with his other band members) song called "DNA".

I think I’ve watched the MV 50 times now-it is spectacular. A song and MV grand enough to match JK’s magnificent voice. And it’s a song about loyalty to a loved one no matter what is thrown at you. It simply does not get better.

Referring to BTS’s American Hustle Life in 2014 ( just the next year after they debuted, while also recording their album, Dark & Wild). Each member of BTS did a few lines for Regulate as a Warren G assignment. RM of BTS did a collab w/ Warren G called Change…so good!!

You are the first to say Warren G and Nate Dogg’s Regulate on a reaction. I have been waiting and watching since the song dropped if anyone else picked up on it as well. It make sense because BTS worked with Warren G in their early years. I definitely saw the nod to MJ but the song brought me back to High School spring break with Warren G blasting out my car .
It's definitely a MV that has to be watched many many times!!! LOVE the homeage to MJ. JK is a superstar!!! I heard WarrenG's Regulate and Queen's Another one bites the dust and sounds like something from MJ's Off the Wall and Thriller Album in the music samples!! Director said the MV is based on Baz's Romeo and Juliet forbidden love!!
This is so EPIC and the Choreo is outstanding!! Wait till you see the performance video that one is a whole lot of MJ vibes. JK is taking me back to the 80s with this one and I am lovin every bit of it!!! Also the LIVE from Iheartradio and Jimmy Fallon show are even better than the MV. This is a new song and a new production and even though some parts of the song may sound similar to others because it's music I'm pretty sure they didn't sample anything for the instrumentals.

He has several solo songs from past albums with the rest of BTS along with his new album. JK also has some awesome covers of songs. I suggest "Euphoria", "My time", "Still with you" and "Stay Alive" from earlier in his discography and he released "Seven" and "3D" along with this song so far from his newest album. He also performed the World Cup opening with his song "Dreamers". I hope you check them out, there are plenty more. He is very talented, along with his other six members.
The name of his album is Golden, and it's fantastic. The other poster gave you some other great suggestions of his other solo work, both on his own and inside BTS. Enjoy!
