- How I installed Nilight 52" Curved Lightbar and Nilight Spotlights 4" on 1997 jeep xj, it was time consuming but I wanted to do make it last long so I ended up soldering almost everything and put heat shrink tubing on the connections. I also put waterproof caulking on the lightbar so they add more protection. In all I think this way looks cleaner than how people run the cables. If you have any questions let me know!

I watched like 5 videos of installs before coming to this. Clean install. Good job. Unfortunately I dont think it will work for my 88. But, I'm gonna see tomorrow when I get back to working on it.

Hey man I did this a few years ago and it seems you did as well have you had any problems with the weather stripping down later? What about replacing the windshield? im sure you have like a disconnect at the light but if not you'd have to pull those wires through the fender.
I guess my question is just how is replacing the weather stripping along with the windshield of you've done that?
So apparently if you wanna replace the weatherstripping on this xj you need to replace the whole windshield because its fused to it, dont quote me on that but thats what ive been told.
@@EasyED1992 so correct it's built into the windshield that's the actual seal on the windshield. But the rubber weatherstripping is just for cosmetics pretty much is what I was told by a glass tech years ago. Anyways thanks for getting back to me man

Did you use anything to help feed your wires through the fender?
So with the roof light bars do you have any reflection off your window and dash? had a white ford it wasnt even worth using but i was wondering since you got a dark vehicle?
I've got a 52" on my green xj and it pretty much stops at the base of the windshield.
any issues with water getting in? i rlly wanna do one on mine but im scared to drill it and have it leak water in

Damn if only I did the light bar wiring method like urs but the downside is I don’t have weather striping on the windshield it’s a chrome piece and I can’t take that off the XJ 🥲

What was up with your long crank issue?
I needed a new Fuel Pump and it fixed it. Be careful tho i had a bad CPS months later which i thought was the fuel pump because they give similar symptoms, long crank, even the fuel rail wasnt pressurized.
