If you think you can do well without coaching classes then there is absolutely no need to join them. But I will say for some concepts of gs 3 and gs 4 you will definitely need classes on RUclips or elsewhere

Sir, I am preparing for upsc 2024. Since August 2023 i startee my mains preparation BUT sir i am facing a hurdle now. I have joined a Test Series sir but i really don't know where I am heading towards! Because in one week I have to give two test(Gs and optional). Most of the topic I have not even touched, so i find hard to first study and then revise and again give test and then analyse. In 6days so many things becomes impossible for me. I have less than 2 months to prepare for mains because from feb 15 I have to start full fledged prelims preparation. So sir what to do? Should I keep aside Test series for now and just focus on building my concept and try to complete the syllabus? And give test right after prelims? Or Should I continue with the test series? Please sir, I really need your guidance in this matter because I have no one to guide me. It would mean a lot to me sir. Thank you!

While it has helped me complete some topics and finish some books, the only problem I face with this technique is that I feel disconnected with the content/books that I have covered in earlier months. How do I plan the revision sessions for books covered in earlier months so that I don't forget what I have already canopied? Right now, I take break before starting new book and quickly revise earlier content. Please let me know if there is an alternative. Thank you.
