Hideyoshi was indeed a genius of his time, from a mere peasant climbed up to be one of the 3 unifiers of sengoku period ...
to resume his achievements :
- he could persuade enemies to turn side (the mino trio, ukita clan, and many more)
- he could build a sunomata fortress in just a single night (maybe it's just an exaggeration, but he could build it smoothly in faster time compared to the others oda general that had already tried befor, even though there were many raids that had been going on by saito clan in sunomata area to disrupt the building process)
- the persuasion he made during siege of odani castle, that azai nagamasa believed and relied on hideyoshi to take care oichi and her 3 daughters to the oda maincamp
- during chugoku campaign, he conquered takamatsu castle easily by flooding it, even though the enemy castle is much more formidable (located on waterfront, so it was so difficult to do flooding tactic)
- securing ceasefire with mori clan in just mere days after hearing that oda nobunaga was killed by akechi mitsuhide at honnoji
- after honnoji incident he marched so quickly from bitchu to yamazaki just a mere a couple days and caught the akechi in surprised maneuver ( total 7 days after honnoji incident, he secured ceasefire and marched to intercept akechi)
- hideyoshi could intervene the internal conflict in oda clan after nobunaga's and his oldest son's death
- hideyoshi could outwit the combined maeda and shibata in shizugatake
- hideyoshi even could hold the tokugawa movement in komaki nagakute
- conquered shikoku and kyushu even though chosokabe in shikoku and shimazu in kyusu was indeed a strong clans in the region
- he was the first person to be bestowed a title kampaku (regent) from imperial palace and given the clan name toyotomi. the kampaku title was only reserved to fujiwara and their famous 5 branches (go sanke) and not to a samurai or even a peasant like hideyoshi.
- he could secure kanto from the mighty hojo clan, destroyed one of the formidable in that time the odawara castle, which uesugi failed to do so during kenshin's lifetime
- invaded joseon dynasty of korea, and almost won not only Ming reinforced the joseon with army and navy, and then hideyoshi died of normal cause, since then the toyotomi was eclipsed by Tokugawa.
if just hideyoshi could hold some years until hideyori reached proper age to rule, maybe toyotomi would stand against all odds, or if hideyoshi hadn't gone mad by killing his nephew, maybe the toyotomi was secured in that time... his love to chacha (yodo dono) was one of many toyotomi's downfall

Even before xl this mission was awesome, building a castle mid fight and then just steamrolling the Saito army! This game was great, loved the mechanics and flow.
Oichi and Nobunaga, since SW1 until Sw4, looked more like father-daughter than siblings.
It’s like Oda Nobunaga is the cruel, uncaring dad to Oichi and Samurai Warriors 5 made Oda Nobunaga young enough to be Oichi’s big brother

Hideyoshi sounds like the cryptkeeper from tales from the crypt, cansino also voiced pang tong in dynasty warriors and get this.....he voice himura kenshin
