Happy new year! I watched Brett (Philly Candle Man) go over the new spring candles from Yankee and they sound great! I’m excited they are at Target. 🤩 Will be picking one or two up! PS I LOVE Cucumber Mint Cooler! It’s so refreshing!

Hi Connor. I absolutely LOVE Balsam Cedar. It’s my favorite scent. I noticed on the website that Yankee has slowly eliminated about 80% of their Balsam Cedar products. Are they in the process of discontinuing the scent altogether? It’s hard to believe since it seems that it’s one of their most popular scents. I really enjoy your videos. Thanks!
They normally only keep a couple of the products in that scent around all year, and discount the rest. They will be back next holiday season. So no, don’t worry it’s just leaving for the season!

That Vera Bradley candle is gorgeous.Is the candle a true lavender and sage or a fake scent
It’s so pretty!! I’m not sure what you mean by true or fake? To me it smells like they blended lavender and sage with a hint of musk.
Oh I’m excited to give some of those new 3 wicks a try! I like some booze-y fragrances, but they have to be done just right to work for me.

My favorite was Meyer Lemon! Discontinued now.

Cucumber mint cooler - Perfection. I could burn it 24/7 and never get tired of it
Shimmering Christmas tree - Just burned this one yesterday and it's the classic Christmas fragrance I needed 🎉 No flaws.
Magical bright lights is really nice too.
I didn't really dislike any other candle (I haven't smelled the autumn collection).

Misses: Boo nana (just so odd), autumn daydream (I had high hopes for it, but it smelled like old man cologne)
Hits: Sparkling winter berry, pumpkin maple crème caramel, evening river walk, and spice market
I liked twilight tunes, but it wasn’t a top favorite.
I am soooooo excited to see what candle companies come out with for 2024!
Oh, Halloween - I totally forgot to mention! I liked Blood Orange Pumpkin but BooNana Toffee was definitely a miss!

Happy new year Connor! Ugh! I am kind of upset they are reducing the 3 wicks to 14.5oz now. I loved that they were 18oz. Inflation is awful at the moment.

Haha….. I laughed at your “cat pee” reference. I know which smell that you’re talking about. I’ve only smelled it in BBW’s floral candles. Most recently Flowerchild, Honeysuckle and Rosewater & Ivy. I was so disappointed because underneath the cat pee smell I liked the very faint floral smell. Unfortunately, the chemical-y pee smell overpowers the floral. Have any of your customers complained about that smell? Does anyone in the candle business know what ingredient or combination of ingredients project that smell? Thanks Connor! 😊
Not sure about the science, but there is definitely some people who complain about the smell of certain fragrances while they are burning. I do occasionally find florals that smell very different on cold vs. burn, and usually they are from BBW.
