Hey Lizzy, it was nice having the outdoor setup. The nurse that stabbed you was most definitely over shooting. its admirable how polite you are about her lack of professionalism. You did the right thing talking to your doctor about it. It's insane that these procedures exist, thanks for the fact tidbit! LMAO the cheese analogy!

I'm glad your documenting this. I'm sure this helps you process, and I'm sure it helps anyone that's had freak things happen they don't understand, I know the day I watched the first one I had a new appreciation for my life and the things I take for granted. But what I'm hoping for you, is that someone is watching this, who will share it with someone and so on and so on, until you find the person who sees this and knows what this really is and knows how to really help. I found you through climbing, and you are very talented and inspiring. I'm staying for your journey and wishing you peace.

Hey sorry to hear what happened to you. Weird that part 1 didn't show up in my timeline, I've haven't seen your videos in a while and I just assumed you went on some crazy climbing road trip. It's good to see you haven't lost your sense of humour even in this difficult time with the outtakes at the end. Get well soon Lizzy!

Hello, just came across your story and am wishing you well. Others who are sick or struggling will benefit from and be fortified by your experiences. I hope you continue to find solace in your creative pursuits, in the beauty and peace of nature, and in animal friends like your sweet dog. Don't feel bad if you are not up to sharing sometimes and you just need time to rest. As an athlete, you are used to pushing yourself, but now is the time to draw on the strength and kindness of family or friends, and even the strangers who are cheering for you. 🐿

Thanks for your documenting. I discovered your part three video first but had to come watch the first two. I just broke my ankle and not being able to climb has been driving me crazy. I can't even imagine what you have gone through, thanks for sharing your strength with us. Yeah the hospital is a strange place, way to keep up the positive attitude.

For the anesthesia bit, they should have stopped. Signing a medical consent does not mean that staff have permission to continue after consent has been withdrawn. If you have the desire/energy, filing complaints can help this from occurring to others.
Wishing you continued success in recovery!

Lizzie you are incredibly strong and intelligent in the face of overwhelming uncertainty. I wonder if you are still vegan. I ask because at 29 I had to start eating meat and eggs again after 14 years vegetarian, due to strange and debilitating autoimmune issues (they were quite different than yours rhough).
Now enjoying great health and strong climbing many decades later. Hoping for the same for you, but much sooner.

I wonder if this was the same nurse who gave me my second covid shot in the Ball Arena parking lot. she just raised her arm overhead, closed her eyes, and stabbed me. so aggressive and for what reason?

You have amazing strength and perseverance. For your benefit and especially others who may read this many people who took the THING for "something" 19 have been expressing autoimmune disorders. The fact that you took a trip to South Africa makes me wonder if you had to take the THING to travel. I am praying for your full recovery. Btw, this is not a political issue so please do not be offended. I know many people have had no side effects from the THING but many people have had severe reactions.

    • @sarahpreston4558

many, many more people have suffered long-term effects from the actual ""something"" than for the "THING" 🙄
