- As a kid, Frank Mir was a Dungeons and Dragons nerd and fantasy book freak with no friends. Then he got big, and people started showing him respect. But even to this day, Mir still has his share of haters. In part 2 of this FIGHT! Life series, Frank takes us back to his days as a social outcast, and has a few words for the message board warriors who keep talking smack.

Frank Mir is very good at speaking. He is very good at formulate himself and describing things at the moment and that is a big sign that the person is intellectualy strong.
I think I ve finally found my inspirational person. I ve been listening to his interviews for the last month and i feel that they're effecting me in a positive way since i do martial arts and i m going thru some rough time as he did. Thank you Mr. Mir and I hope one day I ll meet you and train with you in Vegas!!

I WILL NEVER FORGET “THE MAN FRANK MIR” he is as real as anyone can get. Passionate about love fighting and being who he is snot what they say he should be. Problem is he is truthful about going in the octagon he does not lie about saying he will beat who ever is in the octagon opposite of him. His honesty is beyond there understanding because a fighter is actually supposed to hope him self up and believe he can beat anyone in the world they lie to themselves to the point of believing what there saying they brain wash themselves. Frank Mirr does not do that and it’s confusing to other fighters and they don’t know how to deal with someone that’s true to himself and his opponent. That alone is how he wins fights. When the bell rings he is there to for a win but knows it’s not a guarantee, but he also knows it’s possible because he is very good UFC FIGHTER one of the best ever.

I used to hate Frank Mir's brashness. Now I realize that he is just very open about everything and will not shy away from speaking his mind. The more I hear him speak about things, the more respect I have for him. WAR MIR!
Interesting choice to go from Rutten and Bravo to Mir. These vids are some of the best I've seen, though.

For people like me whose born language is not English is very hard to listen carefully everything that Mir say because he talks really fast.
also, he had an unfortunate accident when he won the title the first time and he came back from that and hasnt let that from achieving his goals.

If you didnt know it by now most nerds are the guys building space shuttles and working for the government.
Go by Caltech, MIT and JPL thats all you will see. Not only that you will be surprised at the athletic Grad students that are into MMA or some sort of Martial Arts.
wow i honestly always thought frank mir sounded a little more eloquent than most mma fighters so seeing the opening lines really threw me off
Pretty nuch by definition you need friends to play D&D and other roleplaying games and I grew up amongst friends playing and discussing video games.

Not a Mir fan. I don't think he is as good a fighter a lot of people seem to think he is. Especially after his accident. But his message here is good. Wish he listened to his own words before calling out Lesnar. But Lesnar deserves it because he puts on such an arrogant persona.
