    I actually really like this string, probably more than you did, especially for the price. Living in the US, excited to try the 1.20 since the 1.25 is somewhat heavier than other 1.25s, but I find that everything is pretty good with this string - decent spin, above average power, good control, and the feel is somewhat more solid and crisp given that it isn't the stiffest string out there (though it is somewhat stiff, which makes me semi nervous about arm issues)

    Hi Tan, how does head lynx tour compare to solinco confidential?

    • @tantennis
      @tantennis  11 месяцев назад +1

      Lynx tour has alu feel, while confidential has dead plastic feel. Both are control oriented poly. I think lynx tour has more power.

    • @TheTennisDaddy
      @TheTennisDaddy 7 месяцев назад

      I’ll add that Confidential is a bit stiffer and deader feel but absolutely more spin. To me, you can really feel that Confidential is a shaped string whereas Lynx Tour I didn’t feel that so much, I’m changing to Lynx Tour though as it’s more comfortable on my arm

    Don’t try the 1.20 gauge. It plays so different from the 1.25 and don’t try it at other colors. It’s very different. Brown is the most balanced.

  • @nakmuay5034
    @nakmuay5034 Год назад +2

    You can't mesure the tension maintenance after only 1h of hitting... Lynx Tour has a great tension maintenance... You can't do a review after only 1h of hitting... This string is pretty stiff after the first hitting... except in 1.20 gauge (too powerful) and black color (softer and muted). I like the grey color the best. Like many shaped strings, it plays better with a round cross poly.

    • @クリームイカ

      You nailed it. Lynx Tour settles after about an hour or 2 and stays very playable for a long time. Made in America strings of the highest quality. I say you play again with it and get back to us.

    • @tantennis
      @tantennis  Год назад

      I understand that. But it’s a fact that tension goes from 47 lbs to 43 lbs after one session. I just measure the Tour Hex on my PS97 probably 6 months after and it goes from like 50 lbs to like 47 lbs (didn’t play with it often). But that’s a high bar there lol.

    It's strung too low and that's why you're losing control. Anything below 48lb is hard to control unless your Adrian Mannarino. Good Vid btw 👍
