So many people failed this man
His color failed him
@@johnwaters3537 Your parents failed you
@@johnwaters3537 Pretty much. I just saw the video on X and he was fighting for his life. Then the rude manager came while he was talking to the reporters on sight while wearing the company shirt which probably is not the best idea but she pretty much told him it was his fault 100% why he was assaulted. He actually quit on air. I see some place else has already hired him but his boss was rude asf.
That company is a liability.
I was thinking the same thing.
The dispatcher is the one that should have been fired. Austin is a 24-7 dumpster fire.
No, the chief should be fired since both dispatchers followed the same protocol.
I agree but most cities does that so you have to pray you get someone who cares about your problem.
Ridiculous!! Then the way the security company he worked for treats him like that!! Crazy
Did the video when he quit on air?
I got a gun pulled on me before and 911 put me on hold hahahahaha
You too? It happened to me twice as a mailman and i had their plates. Postal inspectors and police did nothing.
@@jaysonW7 I am really sorry you guys experienced that. Really sorry.
That’s funny?
I had a 911 operator hang up on me!
@@documentassistance1689 Dude I am like different now I used to love going outside:( Right now I am at home most of the time and always looking around me feeling paranoid who's going to pull a gun on me again it kinda ruined my life in a way tbh
Ummm, this man seems very patient, rational, & tolerant of what he experienced not only from a couple of thugs but then his supervisor!! Glad he quit! Wishing him all of the best in his future endeavours and I hope that he finds a company that appreciates & respects their employee!!
Hate crime. Cause people don't realize how quickly people blame and get ready to fire security guards.
I saw the video on X when he quit on air. His boss was literally yelling at him and told him it was all his fault he was assaulted because he touched them.
If he had told APD that 2 homeless POC were hanging around, they'd have been there in 5 minutes in full tactical.
Fact
What is POC?
@@PBE86 POC= Person of Color
As a retired security guard, i understand what he went through. Security companies DO NOT have your back no matter what they say. I've been there a few times.
Wow.
I can so relate to Percy being a security guard about the awful treatment he got from his supervisor and security company he worked for. I had a similar situation at my place of work where I was physically attacked for doing my job. I had kindly asked a man in his parked car which was blocking and impeding other vehicles entering and exiting the driveway entrance to move his car up a bit further. The man got out of his car, walked up to me and began punching me. I even told the man to stop which he didn’t so I had to physically fight back to defend myself kicking and punching this man and he continued to attack me. I ended up getting the upper hand over this man. I had to write an incident report, days later the security company I worked for told me it was my fault and I shouldn’t have asked the man to move his car that was impeding cars from exiting and entering the driveway. I had maybe two of the senior employees that had my back. Long story short, the man who attacked me was a former cop by the name of Michael Markicevic who defrauded his former employer which was a university he worked for over a million dollars.
@@Joey_Lance Wow.
@@Joey_Lance Was that York University?
@@imhereforitall9218 Yes, York University in Toronto.
So it’s called priebe security please call them and ask them why they turn there back on thier employees
The owner of that building should be thanking him and finding a new security company too !
I wouldn't feel safe or comfortable. Like imagine going through all that and everyone basically saying OH WELL. Thats being Black for ya
He would have been dead if it was something serious.... An hour tho 😮SMH
So hope this gentleman gets a better job! The lame supv requires immediate retraining as she is insensitive and arrogant
When the call was made to the police, I would bet there were officers hanging out at establishments that offered them free food. Cop say they’re too busy, but they’re never doing anything but writing citations or riding around in gas guzzling luxury SUVs and trucks.
COPS SHOULD HAVE RESPONDED AND GOT A DESCRIPTION OF KIDS AND HAVE THEM ARRESTED FOR ASSAULT
Alot of security companies do very little support or backing up their guards.
They are more for the contract with clients and clients depending on job site let their rules bend.
The sign may print no alochol but the people bring it. The client is problem.
Austin is turning to San Francisco.. I called it a long time ago
That’s because Texans are a minority in Austin.
Keep on voting for the same dirty politicians you have become like any Democrat run city around the nation: a garbage dump.
Well now. Quality in some circles means consistency in the product or service provided. I guess APD has different criteria. 😮
I hope this guy sues everyone involved
So police won’t even show if the criminals run away fast enough? They sure are setting a wonderful precedent.
Weird protocol tbh
He need to sue
Austin TX Got More Than Enough Police To Spare 😅
Time to sue company
Next time you might get a next time you do everything in your power to survive any attack if it seems like it is going to get worse. Glad he quit and got hire as soon as he quit that job. Very disgusting behavior from the company, he worked for and that supervisor.
COME ON PEOPLE,we need to find this lady and what job he use to work as because her blaming him is unacceptable,SHE NEEDS TO BE FIRED,I hope there’s consequences
Who you gonna call…” ghost busters”😂😂
So if a police officer gets attacked will he not get back up if his car isn't stolen????
like there not going to do this again to someone who cant defend themselves
I was a level 3 sec.agent for many years. The one thing missing in a lot of people is the dedication and clarity with what exactly they stand for. "Citizens willing to stand in the gap". They are examples of what we should all do.
"Claims he was assaulted" . Video doesn't count as proof anymore ?
Guess you have to be lifeless.
He said the officer did get there for a half hour to two hours. That's a big time gap. Better check his time table 🤨🤔🤔🤔
So basically you are on your own pretty much. 2A folks. 2A. I am telling ya'll.
A known location..?
Dude, one rule of security. You are on your own. Unless a felony or violent crime is "in-progress" and the suspects are on-scene, only then will the call go out over the police radios with an alert tone. All other calls will be service calls to be dispatched when the officer clears the prior calls.
Genius!
Spread that companies name everywhere
That company is incompetent
Disgraceful PD. This is why she needs to stay home or stick to interviewing.
😳 Quita looks old & tired.
Guard got a new and better job because of? the way he handled himself. Time to sue that lady and her company for $500 million federal lawsuit for wrongful termination
so if he would have popped one of them then he in the wrong wow get ya gun lic thats self defence when its more then 1 person attacking u at that point u can use ya fire arm
In the state of Texas if you assault a security officer level 2 or level 3 it is the same charge as assaulting a police officer. I am a level 3 and level 4. I refuse to be a level 2. I carry pepper spray, a pistol and a baton. I would have used the pepper spray on them. The company he works for should get sued for knowing putting there employee in danger because they knew the door wasn't closing and the made it more dangerous.
1/2 to 2 hours is a big gap 🤦🏽♂️😂
This is why we don’t need cops. Everyone needs to bear arms. Take care of issues yourself.
So somebody gets physically attacked while they were committing a felony and police not sent? cross out Austin as a place to live. Thieves should be easy to trace since their scooters are rented. Security firm should be replaced
wow, that is awful to hear. not to send a police officer is a legal violation, i hope he files a law suit against the COA for this. this is a dark evil story & the COA is an very dangerous place to live now, the politicians who are supposed to protect the public have violated there duty and have turned the COA into a crime slum IMO
Did they get the teens?
Love it. Defund the cops. Defund the cops. Cops quitting. No budget for cops. Cops shortage. Where are the cops? Where are the cops? And this isn't the only agency. It's nationwide
That sorry company didn't deserve you Sir...GodSpeed on your new employment and armed protection..Austin is a Cesspool
Had that been a Karen, they would've arrived in 60 seconds or less....
Turning into cali out there in Austin.
OhhTexas !! Mericaaaa!!
I bet they would have came if he was white
With bells on.
Remember Uvalde
Working security is a scam. Your just a cushion for whatever a thief wants to do to the company your “securing”s property. They don’t care about youuuu quit
Yup,and you have zero rights with all the liability ,totally on your own if something goes down
Kia failed this man
May Yah bless the security guard & the man that gv him a job! 💪🏾✌🏾🫶🏾🫱🏾🫲🏾
Fox 7 got the better scoop!
2:03 😍 beautiful
The company and supervisor, do not care about the employee. The police do what they always do ignore the victim.
Usual suspects
2:19
That reporter is gorgeous 😍
WE THE PPL WANNA KNOW WHAT THE POLICE CHIEF AND DISTRICT ATTORNEY FEEL ABOUT THIS CASE? Have to say in response? 🤔 🧐
911 i
The story keeps changing
What do you mean by who!
This story has been the same. Stop with the retardant nonsense
He didn’t claim it so much as the video proves it ya weirdos. I love Rogan but Austin’s BS is on him! He California’d Austin.
🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴
🤨😳Claims🥱😏
You got to use white people voice when you call the police
Qay Democrat and pro second amendment supporter Michael Cargill has hired him for security and will raise him to a level three security guard. 👏
Citizens turned Austin into baby California and they rallied on defunding the police. They got what they wanted but now it's a problem? 😂😂😂
Wrong title news personnel. Do better .
Didn't his people want to defund the police? Interesting how he expected a fast response. That sucks
You think a city in Texas cared about "defund he police"? Try again
LOL this is what you get for voting Democrat.
Figures an apparent trump fan has no issue with the criminals in this case. More worried about attacking the victim.
Trump and biden are the same 💩. Only the smooth brains don't realize it.
Yep! Austin is a Liberal Hellhole. They got exactly what they voted for
THEY ARE GOING AS FAST AS THEY CAN..YOU WERE NOT INJURED AT THAT TIME FOR 911...GROW UP LOOKING FOR A PAYDAY..OFFICERS ARE DOING THE BEST THEY CAN..WHY CALL THE NEWS???? UMMMM
😂 bro your a 🐑 move to Oakland
Shut up and live in the real world you sheltered KAREN
How do you know he’s looking for a payday and if he feels like the company’s has some fault or the police department he has a right to sue
Gail stop yelling.
You gotta be trolling right
