I actually liked mr. Fuyihiko. He did his "love to hate" job well.
The theme is also used in Balos' final phase.
Because the part of a game that leaves the largest impression is usually the last thing you did. Which is generally going to be the True ending.
spindash64 Untrue. I didn't get the true ending until after I got the neutral ending by defeating the Undead Core, because getting the true ending requires a lot of specific things that I doubt a lot of people would do on their own.

Thats what I meant. You beat the game for the neutral ending, then you go back to get what you missed. In this case, that's the true ending.

Impossible. The original Cave Story was released in 2004, two years before Sonic 2006.
However, the Wii's 17 second "introduction" to Cave Story's "Last Battle" carries a similar motif as Sonic 2006's "Crisis City" (the Wii remake of Cave Story was released in 2010). Still, I highly doubt that NICALiS intended to rip off a motif from a different game.

Me: man, Quote was ahead of his time. T-Posing before it was cool.
The opening reminded me of a pokemon battle theme, but it quickly ascended into the high-intensity awesomeness that is the final showdown with the Doctor. The track got me from the beginning, when I played the english-patched original version.. it really does sound like the last battle, like this is the most important thing you're gonna do, like EVERYTHING rests on this single, bitter struggle at the end of the road. God I love this game.
Real men use the Bubbler/Bubbline on level 1.
***** Nemesis Lvl 3 is pretty much Bubbler on lvl 1. One damage a hit and a very short range.

You most likely haven't even beat the original, which is much, much harder than +.
I beat the original in all difficulties and with all the endings
the original only had 1 difficulty.

I beat the original. the game was awesome. Blood Stained sanctuary is hard though, but i managed to beat it
I own the original and ended up trading playing that with playing the 3DS one from eshop, which is essentially the original game with difficulty settings, a jukebox, time trial, Wind Fortress, Boss Rush, and Curly Story.
Two things, Pokemon? and the mix is why we LOVE IT. it's a great mix and it pulls it off spectacularly.

Parker Verboom actually, with no weapons, you wouldn't be able to defeat bosses and you are forced to get the locket and air tank to move on in storyline.
as universally panned as sonic 06 is, the music apparently has a strong following. When asked to defend the sonic series from the dreamcast onward, most fans cite the awesome music.

EuWii version's intro is amazing, but the rest falls completely flat. So it sounds amazing here as an intro backed up by the greatness of the original and 3d versions.
All we need to do now is SLAP every song theme from Cavestory + on switch and create the ULTAMATE BALLOS THEME

Cave Story+ on the Wii (which wasn't REALLY "Cave Story+" at the time) came out in 2010. It came to PC 1 year after.
Must be pretty sad what passes for a "real man" nowadays, because from what I'm reading they worship fake difficulty and have way too much time on their hands. Using Lv 1 Polar Star/Bubbline or Lv 3 Nemesis isn't clever and unique, you idiots. Odds are a good number of us know the game's tricks; it doesn't make dodging the bosses and other hazards any harder, it just makes killing them a long and boring grind.

May it be a combination of Lvl 1 king blade and Lvl 3 Nemesis or lvl 1 nemesis alone, a man is an individual. He stands out from the others.

Well, I usually spam the super rocket launcher on both doctor phases, then get EXP and missiles from possessed Misery's minions, while avoiding possessed Sue. Then once those 2 are both dead, focus on dodging and shooting with the Undead core. Hope this helps!

For anybody who likes a challenge try beating hell with the polar star and nemesis. It's satisfying watching rows of cupid-looking devils being mowed down by cute little ducks and lightning.
Cave Story was released in 2004, as a freeware PC game. Sonic 06 was released in 2006. And BTW I heard Pixel didn't have any musical experience at the time...and look what happened! A masterpiece was born!
