Oh My God - This is so nostalgic. Even tho I joined the community in late 2011 it is still nostalgic. Those were the days, when life was much simpler, when the only thing you worried about was your minecraft dog and your diamonds, when you had only 1 hour to play every day, when you had 20 fps on your Windows 7 laptop and flexed with that, when you came home and hopped on your minecraft server that your dad bought you for your birthday, when the community was united, when the content on youtube was so simple yet so enjoyable, when you tried to summon Herobrine, when you built your first Aether portal, when you were scared of the Nether, when beating Ender Dragon was so cool. Now… You have to worry about your grades in school, about your future, about how you spend your free time, now - when you have 60 fps it’s ONLY 60, when you know everything about the game, Now when people can kill the Ender Dragon in less than 10 minutes. The game is much less enjoyable when you are older because you know what’s happening, how is it happening and you understand everything. When you were 7 you didn’t understand nothing, every map you played with your friend was so mindblowing. I miss those days so much. Now all those nostalgic childhood servers are closing it’s so sad to watch it. Mineplex ended recently, The Hive ended already in like 2018 and so much more. I am glad that I could be here at least since 2011. Thank you all guys for my childhood. Kids nowadays won’t have childhood great as us neveragain.
When I talk about that like this I feel like I’m 60 years old. When I think of 2016 being 7 years ago it’s like so weird. When you think about watching those videos and they were 2 years old, now they are 13 years old when I will be like 25 and there will be like 20 years ago…

I totally agree with this sentiment. I joined in VERY late 2012, and in that time I met ppl I'm proud to call my friends, even if we didn't always get along well. They servers we played on, like Mineplex, ExplodingTNT's Nova and MCOrigins servers, Ruinscraft, etc. are long gone, and so are many of these ppl. I would do anything to go back to that time

Thank you for the nostalgic, yet confusing video😊. I didn't understood the style you were going for BUT I did understood that "an older minecraft world is a reflection of what was going in your life." That's just 😢 wow! I still have a backup of a world, that is nowadays known as "Third Epoch Time Period of my Life", I have 7 epochs and that backed up world (which is a village built on a man made island in Ocean World Superflat) that is so nostalgic to me😢 it IS a reflection of an older time period.

Yeah I understand if it was a bit confusing. I wanted to make a video that was entirely taking bits and pieces of others videos and make it into something of a nostalgic piece to celebrate 14 years of Minecraft releasing in 2009. There were segments that did not connect the best and I made the style up as I went which is why the style might not be polished and set.
This video is amazing. I've only been playing Minecraft for 3 years so don't understand everything in this video but I do feel the nostalgia. This needs more views
naw man, the diamond minecart, pokemob, diamond dimensions and stampy's lovely world are the biggest dubs in the world

Oh my the aether mod 😳 i miss that
I've been playing since infdev. I miss OLD 1.8 factions. Or the rush when horses were added in like 1.6.4 or something. I remember thinking I couldn't get enough new things in the games. As the years have gone by I have lost interest more and more as it changes. It is no longer the same minecraft I once enjoyed. RIP Gontroller the most but other notable mentions off the top are ass follows; Mincraftercity, Diamcraft, GammaCraft, The old archon factions during the camping rusher times, so many others I can't remember. :( rip minecraft. I still remember the friends I made on the early Skype and TeamSpeak days.
I will admit though I thought anything other than Hard core factions & Anarchy were super cringe. Still stand by it. I also still hate the majority of early minecraft youtubers. They were lucky, not skilled or funny. They were low key cringe. Way too hyped always made for little kids.
Damn, kinda disappointed tbh. I thought it was going to be an informative video. Reminiscing of the past. I didn't watch much to be honest I couldn't get past the first song.
