There is no Tom Brady without BB. There is no Bb without Tom Brady.
Hope Bill stays and gets the all time record in New England, but regardless of what happens it’s been a special 20 years and I couldn’t be more grateful to have these men represent New England.

Zappe showed toughness, defense showed up and played great... #26 could have played a little more aggressive on defending the run and coming up like Peppers does when he commits to stopping the run... Only a few pieces will make a big difference come free agency and draft day .... There is a small margin between a superbowl and not making the playoffs. I see a great upcoming year coming from this point forward.... Corners just need to be more aggressive but are good. Peppers really sets the tone #5

Bill Belichick always destroyed my favorite team when playing and I hated him but as I got older and more mature I realize he’s an all time great and his teams were so well coached for 20+ years and he led the greatest dynasty in football history so he should be remembered for that not these last yeara

We should be keeping Bill. Idk how tf a unproven new coach would fix this other than BB. Definitely need another OC and revamped online and a qb room that includes a vet just to have that experience in the room for a new qb or rookie
What happened this season is on the starting QBs and not on the OC. Tweedledum and Tweedledee couldn’t stop coughing up the ball.
Tough loss today but I'm sure coach Belichick will rally the troops and have the guys ready to play and win next season. Just got a few loose ends to tie up. Go Pats!

Getting rid of Bill would be Foolish , but the talent issue needs to be addressed in a perfect world you keep Bill as coach and he can put all his energy into that and you bring in someone as a GM that Bill can work with.
He will NEVER give up his GM powers which is why he will likely be gone. He wants complete control. He created this mess. Some fresh blood from the offensive side of the ball would likely bring some much needed fresh air to your franchise.

People who don’t appreciate Bill Belichick don’t know football. It’s that simple - they watch highlights, Redzone, their fantasy app, and have never watched a full quarter of football in their lives. We see them in the sports bars - they show up in full team regalia and never watch the game while they shove buffalo wings into their mouths. The only time they pay attention to the game TV is when people cheer and they annoy everyone actually watching the game by jumping from table to table asking people how their fantasy players are doing. Anyone who thinks it was all Brady and disrespects all the other players who won those championships and Belichick needs to go watch the 01 - 03 seasons. But alas, even if they do they won’t understand what they are watching. Fans of other football dynasties - Packers, Steelers, 49ers, Cowboys - talk up their past great teams. But New England has a segment of Patriot “fans” who do nothing but dump on the great Patriot teams. At best they are player, not team, fans; but really they are just fans of whomever causes a notification on their phone to go off.

To all you TB12 zealots, it's not a debate between Tom and Bill. I am also a huge Brady fan. However, Belichick deserves credit for building the teams that allowed Tom to flourish during their heyday. And that includes the #1 Defenses he put on the field ~ year after year after year.

Great first question Mike. This whole fiasco is because of Mac. He caused BB to be in this position with his terrible play. This man might lose his job because Mac is so 🗑. If we stated zappe game 4 or 5 we wouldn't have look this bad. Let BB draft a new qb and see if it's him that can't coach or was it the qb play that was that bad. I feel Mac supporters became furious with how Mac turned out and blame BB for it. How can you blame a coach for a players production? This guy was awful, no coach could've won with a qb like Mac. It will be the most idiotic move to fire BB now. If you want him gone just say you want him gone because of Mac!
I agree with everything you posted except the part about Zappe. He had six games as a starter to show what he could do. 2-4 was the end result. Starting him earlier in the season wouldn’t have led to more wins than losses. If the team had drafted Brock Purdy instead of BZ in 2022 or had signed Joe Flacco this season, they probably would be in the playoffs.
Mac was rated 16 out the 32 QBs at the end of his rookie season. His dumba$$ hire of his buddy. A DC that's never called plays in an actual game. Torpedoed the offense in Mac's second season with his idiotic hires. Only morons can't see how dysfunctional the NE organization is atm. Drafting a QB is not going to fix the root of the problem.

Yes the brainwashing began much earlier though, when Brady chose to leave and had his media henchman push the demonstrably false narrative that Belichick pushed him out. That’s when the end began.
You know, Joe Flacco was there for the taking this season and Brock Purdy was available to be drafted last season. Pats missed out on two guys who would have turned things around and gotten back in the playoffs. The best coach in history? No one would have said anything close to that if Drew Bledsoe hadn’t been injured by Mo Lewis, forcing the Pats to send in Tom Brady as his replacement.

Belichick with the Browns in 1995, and Matt Cassel (w/l 10-5) in 2008, when Brady went out for the season with an injury after 1 game.

Well him leaving is the dumbest thing ever. You’re essentially letting the best coach to ever do leave to go to another team. That mean we have to go against him. And that also means a complete rebuild of the patriots so give it 5-6 years to be relevant. What they should do it keep him away from drafting that’s it.
