memento7979 sadly it isn’t !! The one on Spotify is the original cast recording ( which is still absolutely amazing!! I just hold a special place in my heart for the UK tour cast ) !!

i wish we could also have a broadway recording but if we did a recording for every cast in the uk and australia and new york it'd kinda take away that special thing for all the original singers in the recording because they never performed at the west end and didn't perform w all the new costumes and updated things so their thing is the recording and the other actors is being on west end and being that special original cast (if that makes any sense)

I like how she says the "unfriended" line. The original actress is great on the album, but the way she says that line always sounds weird to me, and throws off the rhythm/rhyme imo. This Anna made me realize how that line could actually work.

It seems really hard because there's practically no music before that to find your place, you just have that split second of instrumental that comes before this.
I saw them a few days before this (on the opening night) and they sounded better

I am loving UK tour’s Aragon and Seymour 💕 I love how powerful Cleves and Parr’s voices are and the Boleyn alternate is amazing I love her and I loved Howard so much too, I wish I could transport from America to the UK to see this cast
I met some of the tour queens after their performance in Cardiff. Honestly they’re super sweet and I would die for them.

I love all the casts, but I haven't seen a group yet with this amount of sheer POWER in all of their voices. Normally Boelyn/Jane/Howard have more delicate or bouncy or fun voices, and Cleves/Aragorn are the powerhouses. But I ADORE having six huge, strong voices together. It really changes the performance.

They sound so different to me because their English accent are much more clear to me. Every cast is fantastic, they each have their own vibe to it.

Ok but Parr was so so good. I love everyone who plays/played parr, they are all so talented! But I think Athena is my favourite, hopefully I will get to see them in June.

Ok, no hate on the new cast members cause they sound great, but the costumes... I like that they keep some of the costumes unique for different cast members, but if the character has a line about their outfit (ex. My sleeves might be green, but my lipsticks red) keep the color the same, it can be a different costume, just please use the color the character said
If you're talking about Boleyn then this is actually an alternate for that role, not the main one. All alts get a different costume from the main cast, it helps if one person is an alt for multiple queens.
@@greylilac3925 true, I guess what I'm saying is that the lyrics aren't as strong (if that's even the right word to use) if the lyrics about clothing are taken as metaphors instead of being literal, even if it is a stand by for the character

The one thing I think was wierd was to have the second verse then end it instead of just cut to the introductions then end it similar to the mixing for the royal Albert hall production
