In case anyone else is also wondering why tidebinder doesnt stop enchantments, here is why: because its what its written on the card. Ya can thank me later ;)
This is why I just play unranked. When opponents rope I just insta concede, not worth staying in an excruciating 25 minute match for 10 turns of that BS when I could just play 4 more matches against normal people, and in unranked the roper gets no reward for winning.

I've been playing something similar. Less creatures, sub the evangelists and cut a beza for 2 the eternal wanderers and 2 clay fired bricks, and I'm running 2 season of the burrow over the overlords+2 lorans. It WRECKS mono black, they can't beat talent and if they are running the dinky enchantment murder card, you just season it back.
Tempo decks are my fav because you’re playing on the edge. You have to be faster enough to beat control before they out value you and control enough to keep agro from blitzing face normally ends with both sides attacking on living by 1 turn. Btw I can’t believe you destroyed blue so savagely.
I mean that shit alone, is why playing blue is just pure grief, all of their decks is do nothing no wincons and stalling. Like that game... The fck does that deck do against anything non mono red
@@DontUseHack I mean it’s fine to play that but it would be nice if people would play it when they have time to focus on the game since it holds up priority. It’s a rated game I guess but people hold priority on stuff like fabled passage as if it’s a tournament
I'll be very honest, I've had a slight aversion to CGB in times past because I got an arrogant vibe. I'm playing a variant of this deck in an upcoming tournament, though, and I do know he's good. I have to say, after watching how thoughtfully and clearly you explained these plays and the knowledge you demonstrate, I was very much wrong. I know I'm just one dude, but you got a fan today. Thank you for what you do.
Been playing a Boros version of this kinda tokens control deck in Pioneer. It's a lot of fun if you can stomach not having counterspells, but Lightning Helix and Fable of the Mirror Breaker are much better cards.
Hey CGB! have you considered playing a monored but it's "big red?" I've only experimented with the idea a bit so far but Torch the Tower and Wildfire Howl are neat and I'd be interested in seeing what a more experienced player might be able to put together. (though there might not be a compelling reason to stay in mono; it just seemed really funny to me.)
Played against this and it was so obnoxious but I still won by chump blocking with Fountainport fish tokens + Case of the Uneaten Feast and making them draw their whole deck with their multiple Caretaker's Talents lul
Had this happen to me when bloomburrow released. 3 caretakers on the field and could for the life of me not get through the last 3-4 points of damage required due to the dang fountainport. Whenever i was ready to instant speed remove the fish he was ready to instant speed remove my rabbits lol. Ended up decking myself lol.
I play this deck and it gets wrecked by Urabrask's Forge from the Boros version, I think it needs at least a couple pieces of artifact removal so it's not an auto-loss.
@@alternatedimensions I've seen some new builds that main deck a Loran plus a few Soul Partitions instead of Parting Gusts, I think that's the clever solution I'm looking for. It slots right in without affecting the mana curve (unlike Season of the Burrow).

Okay, so you kept stating that Beza was a big dumb 4/5. (23:00) But the player had more creatures which would have allowed you to create two token and would have triggered Talent to draw two cards. Am I not understanding something? Am I misunderstanding Beza?

@@perlundgren7797 ok, so against mono red, you drop it around turn three or four and they prolly just concede if they don't win next turn cause you put it up to 1 and it acts as a foretold instant speed doomskar. against boros tokens you play it whenever you can, and start ticking it to three. Activate it whenever you need to get the urabrasks forge off the board, or to clear the card draw enchantment. With blast zone this would cost between 7 and 9 mana to prep, this thing costs two. Against control you have a two mana threat in a removal spell slot that can slowly tap and act as a win-con to dome your opponents over the top. It's not your best card in any matchup, but all of standard b01 is built around temp lockdown rn so decks either rely heavily on 3 mana cards, or try to kill you before they lose to other decks 3 mana cards which means you always know about what you should be tapping it to and you can more often than not get a 2/1 or get it removed, and artifact removal does not come cheap in this format.

No remedy for this meta. The matchmaker just feeds you to the things you can't beat. No deck can plan for everything. Even one with a sideboard.
The meta is great, matchmaking is a different & unrelated thing, good no deck should have answers for everything that'd be dumb.
