I own No 60 badge of the series,first hand owner..the car is still with me and in top condition.I will be celebrating 20 years of its ownership on April 14th.This car was way ahead of its time.I bought original Momo Trek steering wheel with palio specific hub and Momo gear knob recently...that's how much i love this beast.Still lots of eye ball stare when ever i take her out for a ride ..

Palio was my first car. It had a great feel about it. Maybe a little biased as i may sound but it is an absolute pleasure to drive. Haven't come across any modern car that brings such a smile. It had the ability to cheer a car lover with its car-nirvana experience 😄

I owned a Palio 1.9 Diesel. That was a very big engine for the car although only 63 hp. But it was very fun to drive.

There was a fault with palio,suspension, coil springs from earlier Sienna were variable stiffness, here they were simple. This alone killed the Marque, with 4 passengers ride was bad,soft and unstable handling. Very few people will understand this fact. Initially it sold in large numbers. Crude indica beat it on two counts, they brought diesel earlier and sorted out ride . Palio design used to be the benchmark for any new design those days.
Faisal even 1.2 was a great handler and the steering was telepathic. Just didn't have that raw power.....much like the Lancer.
What a sound... absolutely a gem engine❤

My dad owned a FIAT Sienna 1.6 L. It used to be a blast. Too bad it suffered infinite niggles in a short span of time ( ECU issues, engine problems,ABS malfunction ) and the shady dealership made us finally sell it for peanuts back then.

NO. standard monocoque. The weight 1085 kgs was due to multiple layers of sheet metal used. the C pillar is made of 3 layers of steel. The suspension and mechanicals were oversized and heavy.
