This webinar explores concept testing as a means to assess farmers’ requirements for new seed products for three crops: maize (Kenya and Uganda), groundnut (Tanzania), and sorghum (Tanzania). Concepts were presented to a large sample of farmers using videos. Results highlighted new opportunities to respond to farmers’ requirements for risk reduction in rainfed production systems, higher performing intercropping production systems, better tasting foods, and higher yield for commercial-oriented production.
