- A 15-year-old from Hialeah who allegedly crashed into a family car, killing two women and sending a third to the hospital, is no longer being treated as a juvenile in the eyes of the court.
State attorneys on Tuesday officially filed adult charges against Maykoll Santiesteban: two counts of vehicular homicide, one count of reckless driving, and three counts of driving with a suspended license causing harm.

I’ve known maykol for years and he’s the sweetest person you could ever meet, the best friend with the most excepcional heart you could ever imagine. What he did was horrible and it was the worst mistake he could’ve ever committed , i hope everyone who was involved heals from all of this, but if your sitting here making fun of a 15 year old you’re just as horrible yourself.

My heart aches for the families, specially the ones who lost the 2 ladies 😢 and it aches for the parents of this kid, because sometimes no matter how hard parents try to raise their kids right, they will still go out there and do stupid things, make moronic decisions , it’s part of growing up, and unfortunately this time, that very stupid decision caused the life of 2 innocent women.

Sending condolences to the family. I remember an incident when driving with a permit. Teens are not experienced or alert as some adults with driving. Lesson for me don't joy ride!
