Saw them at Leicester Princess Charlotte the week this track broke. New girlfriend too so it was an exciting gig Never seen or heard anything like it since, they were unique and super cool.
The subject matter of this track is what first caught my attention to this rap duo. I bought the tape in the 1990's in Finsbury Park and still have it! The album is well crafted and the lyrical subject matter on all the tracks are engaging.
So much of hip hop (not all but a lot of it) thrives on sexism on misogyny. It's a welcome change to have a song that not only avoids this, but actually takes a stand against it.
I did. Waited eagerly to mailorder once it was possible to ship to Germany. Heard it first on a recording of a show on tape in even worse quality than this here. Worth it. Still bangin.
Terrible trashiness from 1990's. Totally devoid of musical merit. Loved only by the emotionally stunted who never wanted-or had- the ability or inclination to mature into adults.
There will never be another Marxman, they were so unique. I think they are their own genre...whatever that may be

Still a solid tune, and the subject sadly still so relevant.
