@chuckram2188 Even a tank with a chimney wouldn't stop the obnoxious odors that are also toxic. The only way to do something like "the tank" it would have to be air tight and only serviced from the outside. But then the whole neighborhood would have to deal with the obnoxious toxic fumes until someone reported you to the E.P.A.
Great design. Does it carbon up with use? This was always the case with used oil burners. In answer to the one who commented not to use inside due to fumes - could a heat exchanger type flue be put over the burners tubes to take away the fumes, but provide indirect radiant heat?
it's better to use it outside, and it's nice to have the right installations of tubes, but if the fire is blue, you won't need tubes because it doesn't have smoke, what you see in the video is smoke from steel because of the heat of the fire
Dude it just depends on how cold it really is for the fumes buggy or not and I know that for a fact myself the colder it gets the fumes start bothering you less you start beginning to think they're an Angel is coming to save you
and where can this be used? The smell from such a burner is simply disgusting! Another thing is if you put such a product in a closed stove and take the chimney out of the room. Such stoves are made in the countries of the former USSR, and are used to heat workshops.
We used something called the dragon in the vehicle workshops in the 1970's the chimney was shaped like the early jets/ v1 bombs, that creates a natural draw of air, it would burn any oil brake fluid etc

Ah, looks can be deceiving. CO2 is invisible, but kills in concentration. Same with Carbon Monoxide. Cannot be used safely indoors for any length of time. Must have chimney for indirect heating or be in totally vented area.

Great idea, But not for inside! The fumes from burning oil not only smell bad but are toxic!
Good to know!
You would have to put the burner into a wood burning oven with a chimney attached.
@@stefanp4258 Or build a tank around the burner and make a chimney connection.

I did in the 1980s, but pollution was unsafe to breathe into the lungs.
Very nice, but what other source can be used for funning?
Thanks for watching
Awesome, just be careful that the room is well ventilated. Also please weigh up the risk of burning a Carcinogen vs. keeping warm.
That awesome, does it put off a smell?
Actually, it doesn't have any smell, it just depends on the production
Priorities people, get rid of noses
Nice. Reminds me of a Hobo stove. Can you build a Hobo stove and use oil.?
Cool idea! Let's see
Many people didn't know but every Auto Shop in New England.
They've been using Clean Burn systems for decades to extract heat from used motor oil.
Hola funciona con aceite comestible?? Gracias
Yes 💯

Fire only smells if all the fuel isn't being burned. This burns so hot and efficiently that there is nothing left no smoke nothing. No smell.
Attach an exhaust that travels over a plenum no smell, no toxic. Just heat.
Thank you for the tips👍

Thank you for historical idea👍
Watching idol nice sharing stove using engine oil,,old connected idol
Thank you very much
I’m just curious, can you burn transmission fluid as well? I’ve never done it before so I don’t know.
Yes I'm already tested
Appreciated thank you
Olive oil is one of the cleanest burning "fuels" on the planet
True👍

Thank you
Appreciated thank you 👍

That's a good idea
Used vegetable oil smells better
Good to know!👍

Thank you for the advice
I could see this working in an open (3 sided) car port.
I use to build salaidin burners they would burn anything in winter they would heat anything.
You should have mixed a little diesel fuel with the oil and it would do much better.
Mikor tanulsz már meg hegeszteni ??????
Think of all the time you'd save if you learned to lay a weld.
Que combustible usa eso
Used engine oil
Muito ótimo 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
Thank you 🙏
Amazing ❤ great innovation 🎉
Glad you like it!
Make filter for air when doing such heating
What about the burning out the living oxygen?
I wonder how many BTUs it puts out?
3500 to 5000
Koliko ulja potrosi na sat
200ML used oil 15 to 20 minutes
🟦…It LOOKS to be fairly clean-burning after it warms up properly!
Appreciated 👍

Awesome idea 💯💡
Glad you like it

Good
Thanks

Heads up! You will die of affixation if done indoors.
Using it inside would kill you.
Not free heat at all. YOu had to initially buy the oil to get the used oil AND you needed electricity to run the fan.

Adapter for air way
I'm pretty sure my neighbors wouldn't be too happy if i heated my garage with this, and i'd soon get a nice fat fine from Pollution Control.
👌👋🇧🇬
Thank you for visiting 👍
in 4 hours of burning it is clogged with concrete, useless
