- Der Soundtrack ist leider nur als Audio verfügbar, das Video zeigt ebenfalls eine Version von "Who knows" und der Randy Hansen Band, allerdings an einem anderen Ort, nicht im Hot Jazz Club Münster.
Ich fand es interessant, beide Aufnahmen zusammen zu führen, immerhin sind sie von der Länge her identisch (und dennoch - typisch für Jimi Hendrix -) recht unterschiedlich.

Saw him way back in 77 in eugene Oregon . Amazing. I told a friend in Cal if this guy comes through you’ve got to see him. He did and he did . Just blown away .

Great talent. I just wish I could get more out of who 'Randy' is as a unique individual and not a player of so much Hendrix. I just prefer to listen to Jimi himself, and I find Jimi's life story so unique. No one can copy that. All that said, props to Randy.
Talk is cheap. Randy has the exclusive rights to make a living playing Hendrix's music because Jimi's Father saw him from early on and so impressed him that he
NAILED his son's music, he made sure he could do it for the rest of his life without hassle from record companies or family members...and people giving him shit about it...Randy can play any melody and riff Jimi ever played from memory and hard work and Jam his own notes in between which is exactly what Hendrix did other people's ideas through his playing.

You cannot deny me the choice to whom I prefer to listen to for the reasons I've chosen for myself. Well you can try but it'd be like me telling you why you should prefer to listen to someone for yourself. I"m not you and you are not me. Actually I find a lot of value in what I said and not cheapness. I stand on my statement. Have a great day. Finally, if you choose to respond, honestly I might read it and I might not. Being honest, I have better things to do then get in a back and forth on this subject. Been listening to Jim for over 50 years, I don't see that changing and at the same time I've listened to lots of people play Hendrix, Just yesterday I watched Eric Gales, great guitarist, play a Hendrix song with Slash. Finally let me add, the so called number one Prince cover band played here in my city last week. I didn't go primarily because I'm old and just not that into cover bands. That said, I'd rather listen to Prince play his music. Your play list is interesting.

Unfortunately not. He was murdered. The level of red wine in his stomach upon autopsy was way more than someone can consume before passing out. He was forcefully made to consume it by people who didn't like his message. At that time he was unifying blacks and whites too much for the establishment. One of his managers was also MI6. It was all setup to keep tabs on him and try and steer him off the peace and unity path but he persisted too much and they had to get rid of him.

If this is a Hendrix lipsync, they fetched it from a waste basket at Electric Lady Studios. The sound tones of Jimi's concerts were all different. This is a close approximation of the gear and settings used at The Fillmore New Years 1969-1970.. Nice job.
Nonsense. Randy is very good at what he does. The video, as it says in the intro, is a fusion of two Randy Hansen Band performances, one of which was only audio (the one in Munster) while the other one was film and audio. The two were "merged", which - as, again, it says in the intro - was an experiment interesting to the producer of the video.

With all respect, Randy's Drummer is very good & could be great in another Rock Band. He doesn't have the Groove and Soul that I need to get off on the Music. He does alot of drum rolls at the wrong time & it's frustrating. He's NOT in the Spirit. Randy Needs to get a Drummer with Vibe. Sorry if that offends Him or Anybody else.🥴
Yeah you can tell this drummer had zero Jazz studies in his playing. Mitchell had real Jazz techniques just like Ginger Baker...

Not quite like Hendrix.. Plays simpler and misses details.. but almost similar.
Better than Hendrix, doesnt make as many mistakes.. Just try playing hendrixs version from band of gypsies and compare it to this... Randy kills it
Jimi's Father blessed Randy from a very young age because Randy was so good and even more disciplined in his playing.
