Guess I can’t get pinned then. Skyrush backseat is actually my #3 at Hershey now. It used to be my #5 at Hershey but it passed Fahrenheit and Great Bear.
This would’ve been even harder if they had included the defunct parks of AstroWorld, New Orleans, and Worlds of Adventure. They probably would’ve added close to 30 more
The second mine train at Six Flags St. Louis went to Dollywood and was known as Thunder Express, which was replaced by Tennessee Tornado, and is currently at Magic Springs Theme and Water Park in Arkansas as Big Bad John.
Idea: raptor (green invert) vs raptor (jersey devil) vs raptor (sfmm wonder woman) vs raptor (sfft wonder woman) vs raptor (railblazer) vs raptor (stunt pilot) vs raptor (velocicoaster) vs raptor (Italian wing). The only thing is that this would really just end up being "ranking every rmc raptor with a b&m invert for scale" so idk how good an actual video it would make.
13:17 I actually don’t blame you for not knowing about Whirlwind Racer because very little is known about it. In fact, no pictures of it exists anywhere from what Peter from Theme Park Crazy said in his SFNE defunct coasters video. The only thing that is known about it is that it was a wooden coaster designed by Harry G. Traver that operated from 1928-1933. The name also suggests it could have possibly been a racing coaster like the ancient Racer from Cedar Point.
That sucks, I wasnt really travelling back then (was just out of HS when Astroworld closed and SFNO closed) but it would have still been great to see the park
Some coasters on this quiz are renovations of other coasters. I'm surprised SFGA and CGA Turn of the Century were not on the list. Nice video, love watching these quiz videos and all of your content. =)
Out of all coasters my brain could've remembered when taking this quiz, really? Freaking Greyhound. Needless to say, my score wasn't so hot, but I knew I was goner when I remembered that kiddie coaster at St. Louis with it's six paragraph long name.
I'm laughing! New England around hundreds of years. LOL! I would have been hard pressed on that park to get them all right. My home park AstroWorld saw a lot of re-located coasters + some that just went away like the Chance Toboggan.
I couldn't even 100% my home park because I couldn't remember what the mine train that closed before I was born and the shuttle loop I never rode were called.
I would still say that you gave people a freebie with the Goliath shirt since it was Déjà Vu at Magic Mountain. I am kinda bummed that I won't get to ride when I finally make it over to Six Flags New England (whenever that may be). Oh well- at least Aftershock is still around (haven't been to Silverwood yet either).
@@AirtimeThrills I assume it was. I don't remember them branding it as the "new" river king mine train, but maybe they did. I just remember riding it in the late 80s-90s before I moved away.
My first coaster still exists (Hersheypark's little Mine Train, Trailblazer) but my second, third, fourth, sixth and eighth are all gone (#8 torn down just this year).
My first coaster does still exist (Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Disneyland) but my first coaster love (Wacky Soap Box Racers at Knotts Berry Farm) is gone. It was first replaced by Windjammer Surf Racers (which from what I saw looked meh) and then Xcelerator (which I did ride and is a worthy replacement).
The more I see videos about rollercoasters, the more my fear increases about getting on them and I used to get on every single rollercoaster no matter how big
How about a list of the top 10 (or 20) coasters that will make the average coaster rider (non enthusiasts) sick? I used to be able to ride anything when I was younger. Now most rides with multiple loops make me sick for like 2 hrs. after I ride it. I loved Pantheon but I was a sweaty/ queasy mess after.
@@AirtimeThrills It would be hard for you because you seem to have no problem handling any rollercoaster. It might take some research but I figured you'd be up for it...lol. For me some examples I've been on or avoided because I knew it would end badly were Laff Track, Joker (?) @ Great Adventure, and that thing next to Apollo's Chariot at Busch Gardens
I think a way to do this would be "most disorienting coasters" but specifically require that they be forward facing at all times so as to not just make it spinning coasters and 4D coasters. The one that comes to mind immediately for Europe would he The Smiler but I'm sure such a list wouldn't have to only be focused on the inversions. That said, you'd have to decide what you want to do with indoor coasters because they also complicate things. I find the Flight of Fear coasters to be pretty disorienting because they have a spaghetti bowl layout in the dark but I don't know if being in the dark should be excluded from the criteria either.
@@AirtimeThrills You were pretty amazing on this. For example, you knew that SFoT had a wild mouse named La Cucaracha? For anyone who didn’t grow up in Texas, that’s amazing.
Before watching: Do you consider a coaster that rotated to another park as defunct for that park? That could make things weird. Edit: I think it's kind of odd to call a rotated coaster "defunct." By that standard are coasters like Olympia Looping considered defunct every time they move and therefore new credits every time they pop up elsewhere? I mean, just because a coaster was built to be moved isn't really relevant if you ask me. It's just the same coaster in a new place. If the coaster is still operating it feels weird to call it "defunct."
Let's see, without looking... Wild Maus, Wild Katze, Die Katzchen, Glissade, Loch Ness Monster, Big Bad Wolf, Drachen Fire, Alpengeist, Apollo's Chariot, Griffon, Grover's uh, uh, Alpine Express... Verbolten, Invadr, Tempesto, Pantheon, DarKoaster under construction... did I get 'em? [rcdb] ...OK, I misspelled a couple of those pseudo-German names.

You are now pinned
Lol

There's a wing coaster at Gardaland in Italy called Raptor.

Very very few enthusiasts would be able to do as well as you did on this one
The absolute despair and fear in his eyes when “Goliath” was not an answer.
I thought i was way more pathetic and desperate when i couldnt remember nightmare mine right out the gate
Great quiz! Hoping to see more in the future Chris!
Was hoping to see prompts for Six Flags New Orleans. My biggest regret is driving past it on the freeway a week before Katrina.
That sucks, I wasnt really travelling back then (was just out of HS when Astroworld closed and SFNO closed) but it would have still been great to see the park
Six Flags St Louis closed TWO wooden River King Mine Trains, plus a stand up coaster named Rail Blazer that ran on the mine train replacement.
Rail blazer was just the mine train they currently have but with standup trains
slightly surprised it doesnt have Six Flags New Orleans coasters
Nor Astroworld
Yeah this person didnt put defunct parks on either quiz
I love the inserts of pictures of the rides mentioned
That is the ultimate display of knowledge. I'm impressed. Kudo to you Chris !
Thanks so much! You are the reason I’m a coster enthusiast and I love it!

I'm shouting at the screen lol. Orange blossom and nightmare. I love these vids.
just glad that SFOG's Goliath is good and it was so fun
Have no idea.My home park is Canada's Wonderland. The only coaster that was removed was Skyrider. 1985-2014.

Video idea: Best Coaster by A-Z
Video idea: rank top 25 coasters you haven’t ridden.
Pretty similar to the one I released last week (top 15 coasters that should be in my top 25)
FUN FACT : this is the final video with the old intro
I couldn't even 100% my home park because I couldn't remember what the mine train that closed before I was born and the shuttle loop I never rode were called.
I've been asking you to do this forever
Chris, you have forgotten more coaster knowledge than I will ever know. Your knowledge blows my mind
that was shockingly good
The Six Flags Company will soon be added to this list.
Loving the new hairstyle my dude.
The tulsa fair is open for the year
Its your only chance to ride the wild mouse and wacky worm
Its only open for 11 days
I was wondering what coasters they actually have there. Just those 2? The ok state fair had 5 but i could only ride 3
Great vid 👍
One more prediction again 😂
you should do one for cedar fair is there is a quiz about defunct coasters!
I would still say that you gave people a freebie with the Goliath shirt since it was Déjà Vu at Magic Mountain.

Hope aftershock sticks around. That one still has the original trains and i loved it
If they don’t do something about the ceo every one of their coasters will be on this list

They should’ve had six flags New Orleans on there as well
Batman: The Escape got scrapped even though it was never put up at Six Flags Darien Lake, it was just sitting there for years.
Weird how many coasters are moved but not built

I managed 28/71 or 39%

For Magic Mountain you started with Mountain Express. ❤️
