CORN HARVEST 2023

This shows the corn being cut & chopped and blown into trucks. Then the trucks take the corn chop to a place where the farm wants it. The chopped corn or "green chop" is piled up forming a mountain (large hill). They will put a huge tarp over the corn mountain until it is time to start feeding cattle. This process used to be done in pits called "Silage Pits". The corn is converted over time into a fermented feed.
I used a Cannon video camera without a tripod and therefore there a some pretty jumpy scenes. So, don't puke please!
