I love watching/listening to your tapes while I craft! I love that it triggers my own creativity - I couldn't help but think what I'd do. When I saw the little boy with the big hat, I immediately thought I'd cut along the lower edge of the hat so it could hang outside the lace. Fun stuff to think about.
Gayle, I will say first that I LOVE your videos and ideas. Most of what you make looks so very complicate but as I watch you make it I realize all I have to do is follow your steps and it is easy, not to mention beautiful!!!! Now I have to say, I don't know who is worse, you (the enabler) or me (the enabled). Just got home from Hobby Lobby $82 poorer but with lots of pretty ribbon and one of the cute pouches you store your die cuts in plus a few other things on clearance. Thanks for sharing/enabling us and, please continue to share and chat, I love it!!!!
You were thinking of Alfalfa from The Little Rascals! He was my favourite. 😊 I’m a new subscriber and I’m absolutely loving your videos and this little series for this project, Gayle. I say a little “Yay!” every day when YT tells me you’ve uploaded a new one. And thank you for keeping me company and entertained through a nasty cold!! 🤗😘
I figure if I'm ever in Montana and I hear you in a Hobby Lobby or antique store, I'll come up and say "hi Gayle"...you'll look at me and say, "why hi Carol", because you'll know my voice and laugh from me laughing with you and talking to you when I watch your videos!!! I have so loved this series with you. Thanks for doing it.
Gayle, you are always such a joy to watch and listen to! I have thoroughly enjoyed this inspired folio series thank you so much! Blessings to you and your family, happy Easter
I love your take on her folio! I have a suggestion for adding the signature though. They are not sewn in, but add an an elastic band to the center so the pages can be removed easily. It would be a great way to take your folio on trips and be able to switch up the content! Just a passing thought I wanted to share! Have a great day Gayle.
Gayle you totally read my mind. LOL I was thinking how cute it would be with a signature in the middle. It would make a great idea folio. Love everything about this folder,
So glad you did this series I was inspired when I saw the one Emily sent you. Now you have taken out all the thinking and guess work as to the how to and measurements. Thanks
Yes Gayle, we even like to watch you fussy cut 😊. Such an awesome project. So many options and ideas. You have so many goodies to choose from. Thank you for sharing 🤗
I just love this folio, I'm going to watch again and make one too, after I finish moving, can't wait; I'll have ink for my printer too so I can print some of the digis from your shop and use them! Woot woot !
The headless farmer made me spit out my tea because I was laughing out loud! You are soooo cute and oh so very creative! I can't wait to attempt to make this folio!
Gayle, I'm really enjoying this series. I love the idea of stuffing the inside with items pertaining to a particular subject for making a jj. Also like the idea of the blank pages in the middle. Why not make an independent blank journal and inserting it like a tn instead of sewing it in permanently. This way, if giving as a gift, a novice journal maker would have all the elements for making their very own jj. Hope this makes sense.
I was yelling at you to put a brad in the metal thingy. Looks awesome all the same . I’m making one too along with you and probably 19,999 other subbies . Cheers from Oz xxxxx. Love your work.
Looking SO pretty! Alfalfa had the hair sticking up. I know because I have a baby picture with my hair vaselined up like that and my parents called me Alfalfa when they showed the picture. So unfair! LOL! TFS, Gayle!
Oh my goodness . I had just made up my mind to put a signature in the middle too . I wonder how many others thought of that too . See what you’ve done to us. Bahaha xxxxx I was going to aim for 2 .
I've never done a pocket folio before. It is very beautiful. I just love the style and layout. They look like they would be perfect to send to a special friend stuffed with items for Happy mail. I suppose that's what Emily did for you. Hahaha Thank you for another video full of great ideas.
You can roll a tracing wheel along the top of the pages in the tablet to make them perforated, if you wanted to tear off a page or two. Also, if you ever made a row of fake stamps, to separate them like real ones. Hope I'm explaining it right. I always enjoy your videos.
OMG - I just figured it out! Your giggle sounds just like Betty Rubble from the Flintstones! (It’s a compliment!). (You giggled right after you looked at the little pad of paper - just before you sewed through the headless farmer!). I love your giggle. I love that you talk TO us. I also love that you don’t apologize. Love your enthusiasm for this project too. I’m going to a paper store tomorrow in a small town that is about an hour away - we don’t have any cool paper stores close by as far as I’m aware. They have Stamperia paper! I’m excited because I’ve watched you do so many projects with that paper! Thanks for all you share with us. Hugs. PS - tell your hubby to come say hello next time he pops in! :-)
@@gayleagostinelli_ct oh good. LOL Its one of the ONLY cartoons I ever watched. Went to that [new to me] paper store. Did a bit of damage.....but I have tons of good ideas from you to use it up! :-)
I love your videos, you are fast and love how you talk your thoughts out loud. I watch other videos and get bored real Quick. I haven’t met a Montana person that I didn’t just love. Must be in the Water !
I've been watching each video in this series, thinking that as soon as I'm done with what I'm working on I'm going to make one. I kept thinking though, remember to look at putting a signature in that center spine. Get to the end of this video and lo and behold you're doing a signature! Love it!!
I have been enjoying this series so much! And you are such an enabler - in the middle of the video I had to run over to the shop you mentioned and buy sari silk!!! 😂
Omg, those are beautiful. I love them. I'm searching of a good way to do this folio for my art and I keep going to the four lapbook style like u doing folio. I like it a lot.
I think your 'icky water' was yellow, the mangi flavour if i remember correctly😊. I love this Gayle. The Mrs Cogs image on the front is adorable and the colours are perfect with the cover. You chose the perfect coloured sar silk for the closure, it looks great. I was just thinking that the pocket looked bare when you mentioned it, how funny😂. Thank you so much for sharing this series. xxx
Hi Gayle, loving this folio series and how it just keeps going and going!! Just as a thought (though you may have already sewn it in by now!) - how about adding elastic to the middle so you can switch out the signatures rather than sewing one in? That way it can be used over and over again a but like a TN! ~ Victoria xx
For your "icky waters", I noticed with my herbal teas, sometimes there is a weird flavor, if I add lemon or lime juice, it covers that flavor. Little at a time, esp if you aren't crazy about strong lemon flavor. Can't do those waters, because they all seem to have an artificial sweetener that makes me sick to my stomach, so I can't testify specifically to that. Sorry, but I thought maybe it would be helpfull anyway? Lol Loving all these folio projects! So many uses! Thinking I will have (eventually - when I get some.. lol) an accordian milti- pocket for ephemera, plus probably the project one, definately a lapbook one for working on the couch or whatever. Thank you again, for sharing your ideas & time & etc. I do love your videos. Although I feel like I say the same things on most of them. Lol .. but if they are beautiful & I love them... what else can I say?! :) These are perfect for "destash / happymails" too. Imo Nik the booksmith's is awesome too! Think hers started the most recent , folio "epidemic"..
Turning out very nice 👍🏼 I’m adding this to my list #506 wow the want to do list is growing. Poor kids daddy 😂 Put fabric behind the metal label just a thought 💭
It would make a wonderful gift to share ideas. One subbie suggested that it be a place to store the ephemera for a certain project to keep it easily at hand. Then mine is kind of an idea keeper for all the great ephemera ideas Emily shared. In the end, I add a signature to the middle, so a journal with lots of pocket space. So there’s a few ideas. 😘❤️
Hello Gayle, Love your Craft with me videos. Would you please tell me where you got the little box of small birds stickers. Thanks a bunch. Hugs and kisses. CarmenG
Where did u get the little bird stickers. They r so cute. Each episode of this series makes me love this folio more and more. It was Alfalfa that had the cowlick. Probably spelled that wrong!!😊.

Awesome series and they both are really neat and I can see so many use's for them as well. Tfs
It is a great idea to keep your emphera in for a project you working on.
I have that lace too Gayle . . . I cut it down the middle so that it isn't so wide and makes it double the amount of lace!
