16:00 I worked at Guitar Center. They get returns all the time and have no real system to make sure it's packed well or even contains all the stuff that originally came with the product. It is really their biggest bad.

Everything he says initially sounds pretentiously idiotic but then 2 seconds later the true wisdom kicks in and you realize everything he’s saying is true and valuable

Great songwriting; however, I have one caveat. Superman seems to have gotten trashed pretty hard & undeservedly. The only way I can make it work for me is to believe it's metaphorical for someone he looked up to... 'cuz there's no evidence that Clarke Kent or Superman were kiddie fiddlers, or sneaking into bathrooms.
@kimbiwa I believe in innocence until proof of guilt. A man's name is of great value, more than riches. It's really just that simple. I'm not even a fan of Superman, by the way.
No need to just pretend it's metaphorical, Alec said in interviews that it's about someone in real life he looked up to. He talks about the guy honestly but gently and definitely doesn't trash him (he's even careful not to say who the song is about). The song is more about the concept and learning from it than it is about saying someone's awful.
