I cannot express how much I love dl2, when I first got my ps5 I got dl2 with it. I remember booting it up and playing the story. It's genuinely a good game with the new updates. Cannot wait for the future
in all honesty DL2 is like the dark souls 2 of zombie games, rough around the edges with a core of diamond and many people just don't look at that core.
❤yes there is. I just don't like how volatiles always get you in chases, gotten boring by now. And you can't even save manually so I lost 3 hours of progress. Made me hate the game.
Honestly same, everywhere i go, street or rooftop there's always a volatile ready to bitch slap me to a safe zone when I'm trying to reach the next mission area 😂
Dying light 2 had a (lets be honest) very rough launch, I played through the game, and I generally dont have issues with games cause I'm not a critic, of course the story felt much less impactful that dl1, and didn't have incredibly important choice making like It said it would, the decisions barely changed anything gameplay wise, and I was rather disappointed, but jump foward about a year, and the game has so much more to offer, the parkour has become much smoother, the combat feels less retro and more "dying light" they've debugged many things, added new zombies to certain areas, added the ability to "gib" zombies, made night time feel way more scarier than it was before, volatiles are no longer a joke, the zombies properly attack you instead of barely moving an arm, and doing 80% of your health, soon they're adding guns, the ai of humans is no longer terrible, and actually feels like it has genuine strategy to attack then rather than using 1 moves to cheese them, they learn and adapt to your moves just like you do to them, but the main selling point (parkour) has become much smoother, and less reliant on movement abilities that actually slow you down, instead of speeding up, overall, not bad, you can certainly enjoy the game now, but it isn't better than dl1 per say, the only thing they could possibly add to fix things is 1. A overhaul/revamp of the entire campaign, making choices more impactful, possibly affecting zombie types, how you are able to fight, your abilities you can use, gaining new abilities, have new human types, and affecting the map 2. A dlc which is centered more on the dying light ending rather than what we got which didn't bring anything to the table, it would have been better to see ayden cure the disease, or have the bossfight feel more impactful, the next dlc they're releasing I would hope to be more like the following but who knows Overall, it is much much better than at launch, and if it gets better, I might re install it
Doesn’t feel as good as dying light 1. Dying light 2 doesn’t have the same roughness or have the same struggle to survive feeling, it’s just awful. Dl1 on the other hand actually feels like a person jumping about, grabbing ledges and falling from heights
@@Mr.Ghost.2103 Dude. I think you don't know it yet, so I recommend playing the game again now that this is patched. Do it before people start making fun of you
