Just picked one up two days ago. I got it with gift certificates and on sale at 80 bucks off. Used it today for the first time. Love it. Its so amazing. Never had a range finder before. Great review by the way. Well done!!!! I will add one thing though. There are some tournaments that do allow slope function to be on. Most are off yes. I am thinking though you can take notes playing the course earlier with the slope on and that can be an advantage. Mine is working great. Mine earned me a birdie today on the last hole. Joe

Looks really nice but I rank wind higher than temperature and pressure. On a windy day wind is the biggest varying factor to "play as" distances during 18 holes. That said, it would be interesting to see how much difference the temperature/pressure elements add/remove to the slope "play as" distance during 18 holes.
You're absolutely right. It's maybe a yard or two difference when factoring in temperature or barometric pressure. It's a nice to have, but it's not huge in the end.
When I'm 450 out I usually club down depending on what the laser says.

Noticed that the eye focus dial is extremely “tight” and found it hard to adjust unless using both hands. Is it supposed to be this way? Tried several of them at the store, and all had same issue.
Finding the same issue. Is it intentionally tight? Did you ever get to the bottom of it?
Yip mine is tight too, I think its meant to be tight so you don't adjust it by mistake. I did it once and didn't have to do it again to focus. But that's just me

Hold the mode button for 5 seconds then press the power button, u will see Y or M which stands for Yard or Meter. Just keep pressing to switch between the 2
