    Energy efficient & noise optimized turbo brush for energy saving vacuum cleaners referred to energy label 2017
    The TK 286 is the first model of a new generation of Wessel turbo nozzles. It has been designed top to bottom for energy-saving vacuum cleaners. Not only the design makes the difference. Thanks to the new geometry, TK 286 is ideally suited for the use with low-output/energy-saving vacuum cleaners.
    This turbo brush features an effective turbine-driven brush even when matched with low airflow. All in all this new Wessel turbo brush is the first choice for carpet cleaning in connection with new vacuum cleaners.
    The new cover design and bi-coloring set a new optical scale for Wessel turbo brushes and offer an additional flexibility for individual vacuum cleaner styling.
    Efficient
    The new turbine technology optimizes the TK 286´s power transmission to the brush roller creating a new level of efficiency in turbo brush cleaning.
    Cleaning flap for easy turbine cleaning.
    Adjustable airflow valve
    Simply slide the airflow for effective, high rpm, cleaning of even the deepest carpets. This valve ensures continual brush rotation.
    Adaptable
    The TK 286 can be matched with almost all types of low-energy/eco-friendly cleaners.

    If the world saw this video, vacuuming would be so much better for everyone without having to change vacuums or spending money on a dyson. Thank you for making this video!

    Today, I got the Soniclean WhisperJet C2 Turbo brush (rebranded Wessel Werk TK 286 STB305-3) for my Miele S528. It fit the wand perfectly. Of course, it doesn't park on my Miele because I have an old machine but that's OK, the Miele STB-305-3 brush won't fit either. All of that aside, I can't believe how incredible the Soniclean Turbo brush works on my low pile area rug. For 15 years I've been using the Miele combo floor/carpet tool. I've never used a beater brush on my carpet. I can't believe how much more dirt I pick up now with the Soniclean. It's a simple, ingenious, efficient, and amazing tool. Thank you for all of your help! Now I want to get the Soniclean WhisperJet C2 Technik Floor Tool. I have a question?
    I used the Soniclean Turbo brush on my wood floors and it worked brilliantly too. Do you think, however, that the Turbo brush would ruin the finish on my hardwood floors over time? Thank you.

    That's really amazing that a turbo tool can now work on soft and high like carpeting. Definitely an improvement over other turbos. The only con would be the quick dirt build up in most turbos. Gotta luv German quality! 👍

    Just got mine today and I must say, I'm impressed. My Husky Central vacuum power head had it's brush replaced 3 times in the last four years, so I wanted to try an alternative. I saw this video and hoped that it was accurate and boy it sure was. I've tried it on my new basement carpet which is a bit on the shaggy side (not 70's shaggy...lol), and it worked very well in my opinion. I noticed that the brush has no height adjustment, but it does move up and down freely (like shock absorbers on a car). It didn't sound as loud as on this video, but I believe that may just be a sensitive microphone that was used. I'm so far quite happy after the 1st vacuuming, only time will tell about it's longevity compared to the Husky power head. If there are any issues I guarantee I will edit this post, but for now, I rate this a very nice 9 out of 10.

    Last week, I bought the TK 286 and used it with the Bissell Zing II and it did a decent job on the carpets at my home. I had another turbobrush before it which was crap.

    That's amazing turbo brush! I need to look it from the Amazon or eBay. I have that exact same Numatic turbo brush in black color what you have in orange. It's very demanding for the vacuums. Only portable vacuums that can really be useful with it are the pre EU vacuums with over 2000 watt motors.

      Gotta say I'm really impressed. My only experience with turbo nozzles before this has been the cheap small ones that come with some uprights. This head doesn't have the power of a powered head of course but it's more than enough for my medium pile carpet. Oh and just for fun I tried it on a shag rug and it actually worked. Didn't spin super fast, but it did spin and clean.

    • @vacuumtests9225
      @vacuumtests9225 5 лет назад +1

      Yes they are. It has so called free floating brushroll what floats on the carpet. Orange Numatic turbo brush has spring loaded floating brushroll pushing the brushroll on to the carpet. That is much more demanding for the vacuums.

    • @PerformanceReviews

    What is the best battery operated vacuum out there right now. Is it the cordless riccar? Thank you let me know what you think. I'm tired of plugging cords in and lugging them around corners

    • @PerformanceReviews
      @PerformanceReviews  5 лет назад

      That's really going to depend on the phone situation. I think for a full size carpet machine lindhaus definitely makes a good one , proteam also makes a nice cordless upright. The Hoover hushtone cordless would be my third place. Now if we're talking about a bear floor area rug vacuum I would highly recommend the cordless Henry. The politics Riccar has practice in the past years would keep me from ever recommending their products again. They do have a motor issue I don't know if they've solved it with the r10cv .

  • @fiveainone

    Does the valve pressure release release any particles? Or does is the suction strong enough to pull everything inward? Particle counter time?

    • @PerformanceReviews
      @PerformanceReviews  2 года назад +2

      No when you open the valve it creates what's called the Venturian effect. The vacuum actually sucks stuff in from the outside as well.

    • @fiveainone
      @fiveainone 2 года назад

      Thanks for that! I must’ve scoured every STB-305 videos on RUclips and couldn’t find anything on it. I did see TK 286’s open valve is straight through to the bottom opening, interesting it doesn’t matter. I’m guessing the relief valve on the Calima handles also doesn’t leak?
      The reason I thought it might leak is because you did particle counter tests on some uprights that had small exit holes at the back of the floor heads, and those definitely leak
