My dude over her flexin in his bare feet acting like it’s nothing. If I did that, I’d be at the hospital in like 10 mins

Don’t forget the two most important parts of this technique: 1) be barefoot and 2) wear two watches

I can't wait to see the video on how the U.S. Forest Service gets maximum life out of their boots.

He’s doing the bare feet thing because he thinks he’s “grounded to earth”. And after 40 years of wearing boots all the sudden it’ll help.. but if anyone’s ever gotten weld splatter between their toes , they know better.

Cody doesn't even look comfortable walking around the shop barefoot, im sure wearing two watches was part of the gag too

I always chop my wood in the lounge in bare feet with no shin protection, gloves etc.

It’s good to see he keeps multiple bandanas on display, they should come in handy to stop the bleeding from missing toes.

The fact that he can fairly easily pick up the unsplit log means it is well seasoned and dried out. That's the most important thing to do.

US Forest Service recommends splitting wood with no footwear... For stability. And to stay grounded.

United States forest service never split 1 piece of wood in its history, if they supplied wood they bought it

When i was working as a stone mason with my uncle almost ten years ago, i was taught to swing a sledge by throwing it straight up and pulling it down, as it wastes energy to swing it around and from behind your head, he mentioned thats also how you swing an axe, all these years later i see some influencers swinging axes wrong “looking” strong and swinging into super soft wood. No surprise to me that you have such elegant form and of course first class knowledge. Love your content
