Dude, you make it look so easy even with the minor mishaps. I am looking at getting a wing as i couldnt use a board and a kite together, I kept eating sand on Brean sands!
😁 haha, thanks! Good sand and onshore wind conditions make a huge difference. When tides are low the good sand can be harder to find. I've only used a trainer kite, and it quickly drew the attention of the warden/summer fun police. Really enjoy the wing, but you WILL get chased by dogs...!
Sure, looking at strava data I get to 20mph most sessions. Sounds slow but feels great. I could probably go faster but usually run out of firm sand, or get scared I'm going to hit soft sand and crash! That's also when I start to get wheel wobble from my board. When the wind gets stronger the wing is less comfortable to use. A braver person than me could probably go faster!
I use a Tracer Skymount for shots from the wing. It attaches to the leading edge. In a good wind you don't really notice it, but you do when it's lighter. I see you're having fun too, what a great invention wings are! 🤙
@@intheoutside123 ah thanks for the mount tip👍,,I am using my wing with my SUP, and I have a flexfoil mountain board ( my video is of a road longboard skateboard) but I’m also looking out for an old kite-surf or wakeboard with straps so I can try sand starts into the shallows with the wing… so much fun👍🤙
Hi Paul, thanks. This wing is a Naish 4.6m limited edition S25 from 2020. You may be able to find one second hand but otherwise it's most likely out of stock. Wings are not cheap, but you can can get last seasons at reduced prices (that's what I did). I love the simplicity of them, they are a lot of fun if you have a good location to use them 😀

Looks good fun! Pity I'm to old for it.
😄 don't believe a word of it, just keep the wind on your back for that extra push!
If get the opportunity try it with a kite buggy
Could you answer a little question? What the speed normally? And under strong winds?

Burnham-on-Sea to Brean, Somerset. Lunan Bay looks great. I'm looking forward to trying some new locations... one day!
How muddy did you get on that bike ride? 😄
Yep, muddy, but had worse! Bike's clean again now 😀👍
Where’s your camera mounted?🤙
