I can´t believe how rude some people in the comments are. I mean, it´s okay, if somebody doesn´t like their new songs, but these neverending unrespectful comments about how they waste Floors talent and how Troy ruined the band are just ridiculous. I love the two songs they´ve already dropped and I´m very looking forward to the new album - I have the feeling it could become one of my favorites, just because of the overall atmosphere of "Perfume of the Timeless" and "The Day of". I watched an interview with Tuomas yesterday and he said he takes it as a compliment when people critize the new stuff, because that means they probably have a very emotional connection to something they did in the past 😅 (if you want his full explanation, the interview was with Tuonela Magazine and it´s on their youtube channel). I´m quite a new fan of Nightwish, although I know them since I was a little kid. I like their old songs, but the albums that made me a fan are Dark Passion Play and Imaginaerum. I love their latest album Human Nature and I think it´s completely underrated. I personally don´t think their sound changed that much, but it seems there are quite a few who feel different 🤷♀.

And then Anette was chosen as the new singer and it became even more ugly. I'm glad those days are mostly behind us, even though there are still some people who can't behave themselves. 🤪

So cool to see musicians expanding and creating in their craft. It must be so much more fulfilling than the same old beats and patterns. 😊 Kai was challenged last album and, more so, this one. Looks like he is having a blast.
The more percussion, the better. The extensive process of this record reminds me of the vlogs Epica did for their eighth studio album. And is it a coincidence that both are the third part of their respective trilogies? So many themes, I love it!
Can we just take a moment to appreciate how much of a beast Kai is? I mean, he basically recorded all his drums and extra stuff in a WEEK!! Takes Lars what....2 months to do one song? lol

They weave togeher centuries worth of apocalyptic scifi, doomsday awaiting and forecasting... when you start to yunpack and Decode the lyrics, you notice that basicly each word and line is referring to a new story. And not only that - there are hints, bits and pieces of that story sprinkled around it.. and they all come together to make a whole new story o human nature - eager to delve into these apocalyptic visions (every child worthy of a better tale) rather than living here and now (feeling the pain and rooting into reality) - where the life is (noice, yours is an empty hope & gsoe)...
E.g. 1984 Orwell, Aldous Huxley, shaffer, (praying for armageddon?), the church that believes in the armageddon as a second coming. The island in a town that was a haven for some and got flooded, the explanations of the humming noices on the sky etcetcetc. And the video has a reference, imho, to clockwork orange

I remember "Imaginaerum" used a lot of special ideas and it was a success. Definitely Kai Hahto had a lot of work in this album, which is great.
