Another magnificent, pleasant, relaxing, informative, entertaining masterclass. For me, this is therapy as well as educational.
I so enjoy your style, Graeme. Hundreds of thousands watch, but you have the gift of speaking to an individual, homing in as though its a 1-2-1. In a previous video of yours I disclosed (which was personally difficult and a big step I wrestled with) that, for me, life is a struggle; I have to live with mental health issues and I have to play the hand I have been dealt. Its just the way it is; but I know I am not alone, as everyone was so gracious. People feel amongst friends here, like a brotherhood. For me, the best subscription on You Tube. Oh dear....Im filling up, what a pansy I am 😢😅
Best wishes to you, yours and the wider TA Community

Don't worry, for sure you are not alone. It all seems a bit of a battle and whatever gives us a bit of distraction, even for a short time, can alter the mindset for the rest of the day. I've literally just come in from filming the machinery cutting the field for sileage/hay whatever. Some sense of normaility watching all the men work their machinery. And the sky outside my fence is full of Kites...

I just had an idea that the .22 would penetrate the can on one side. I had no idea it was so powerful it went right through, thereby allowing two outlets for the expanding foam to come out and make it spin like a Catherine wheel...A good learning curve I thought. You can see it on the close up GoPro footage before the camera got completely sprayed.

Actually I've got a couple of mole traps, i just need to get something to mask the scent of the steel or the moles go right up to them and then go around them. The people next door have a big ol gray cat that stays outside mostly, he used to catch moles but the last few years I don't know what happened to him, he just left them alone. I'm sure the reason you catch is two reasons:
    1. You have experience of many years. That's a huge advantage!
    2. You don't take it too seriously, it's about fun and that novice mentality at each water you visit.
Clearly you go to catch, who doesn't? But when it's under pressure surely it affects creative thinking!?!
It's this thought process I encourage with our kids, they often out perform me and I'm totally OK with that.

The exploding foam had me roaring with laughter, I had wondered what would happen and that saved me doing it. I think the £24 for the attachment would have been worth it after clearing that lot up. With regards to the fishing, why did you have the float so high up in the water? Reminded me of an old Japer Carrot album my dad had a while back. It was called sweet and sour labrador. There's a story in it where one of his characters, was having amole problem, and all kind of advice was shared around the pub, and a regular old bloke sat in the corner suddenly blurted out, " There's only one way to get rid of a mole, Blow it's bloody 'ead off". And he what on to describe how to achieve that in a very funny way. And the over all outcome of the story is even funnier.
Anyway, I hope you get rid of the thing. Yours truly used to paint watercolours. For over 30 years in fact. Some of my paintings are in high places, like in the living room of an MP, and many of them are in the USA. I never did have any lofty dreams of selling them, I just painted as a hobby. Alas, when over 500 of my paintings got stolen, a large piece of my soul went with them, and I no longer have what it take to create anything worth while. For One of the first ones I did was one of my personal favourites, it was of a perch hiding between some slender reeds, next to a brown ale bottle on the river bed. That was of of those that were stolen. For the most part, I gave the paintings away as gifts. And that got costly when so many were posted the America. If the upcoming treatment on my eyes isn't very effective, the remainder of all the materials used in painting will be is need of a knew home. I know a couple of lovely ladies that live on the south coast that would be happy to get it all. A couple of hundred quids worth of fair quality fit. Last year I rehomed about £1600 woth of nearly new tackle to some younger anglers that had next to nothing and are dead keen. I still have a good amount of gear left, and just keep hoping for improving finances and health to use it. One day, you'll see.
    Take care Graeme. TTFN

I doubt that will have got rid of the mole, also don't touch the foam until its completely set hard because its horrible sticky stuff and a nightmare to get off your hands and clothing I use it all the time at work and it makes a horrible mess but I'm betting the moles won't move out to another area.

But I do have half a dozen cans of expanding foam left over ?? What should I do with them...Maybe dig out the mole hill ,bury them, then fire the air rifle from a higher angle ??...Working on the principle of dynamite ?...more explosive when compressed...? Don't give me ideas my brain is always a mess anyway,it doesn't need more suggestions.

@@TAFishing push it flat in to the ground with the valve pointing down then use pipe to put a hole in at an horizontal angle to put the shot through the valve lay a concrete block on top and let the moles have it!
