This is her best tune, There is a slower version out there that is better than this one . This one moves along too quickly and the guitar solo is not nearly as good.
Average performance, for Norah. With a lead guitarist solo that is quite intense for lack of a more fitting word. I went to see Norah during "The fall" tour, in concert. Cant quite believe it was 14 years ago, but there you go. Maybe it's just the "goggles" but the version I heard in the Apollo in Manchester, England, sounded better. [Then again I was there, in person, so maybe that gives it the edge?] Not that an average performance from Norah isn't an exceptional performance as far as anyone else is concerned. I just have to believe that it must be "average" by her standards, this didn't make her own RUclips channel. [Unless I've overlooked it] I just listened to a video of "Flipside", a live take from the Newport Jazz Festival. [Everyone was on fire in that performance] That's the one in the US state that's long and starts with M, and I can't spell it. Not the Newport little 3 year old me used to walk, in Wales.
Stuck is Norah Jones' Master piece and this version's solo is incredible.
I hope she wins all the Grammys. She should.
