Congrats brother. The pride in the eyes and talk of a Jeeper is something else. Fools those who compare this Jeep with a Creta or a Seltos or even the Hector.
Agreed it’s the “legendary “
Bro. I have watched many Compass review videos of famous auto blogger what nobody have told the features shown by you. super
Thank you Pushkar, I am just trying to share my experience here with all 🙏🏼
Welcome to jeep life bro, jeeper for life, best 5 seater car under 30lakhs✌🏻
The car is beautiful and congrats bro i am a proud owner of a jeep compass and I would say u made a fantastic choice 👍🏻
Thank you Rajan 😊

Kya choice hai.
Wonderful.
I like it.

I am driving Jeep compass 2018 Diesel, and I know that this car not rides it glides, what a suspension, what a built quality, what a sound quality, and I am getting 15 KMPL in 100% city, 17.8 KMPL in City+Highway and 20.3 on highways and with a very reasonable (70-90 KMPH) speed on highways I also got 29 KMPL on highways.
You have the 1.6 litre engine ?
Bro how can u get such kmpl plzz say me I will also drive like u I m getting 13 to 15 kmpl bro
Hi Anas, on highway long journeys . Keep the gear ratios high & RPM lowest possible to attain a speed of 80-100kph. You will surely get 18kmpl if your driving this way for more than 1-2 hour journey
Congratulations!! One important feature missing in Jeep is washer for backup camera, as they call it off-road beast.
Yeah couldn’t have been
They have now 😊
@@marine281177 Since April?? I also learnt JEEP had added TPMS in all variants. But could not find any official source.

Quality product always from Fiat.
AC vents are integrated which is good to see etc. But have heard that the AC cooling is below par, and not good for peak Indian summers. To explain better, in other cars a setting of 22-23 is good enough to chill those cars, but in JC you have to lower the temp to 18-19 to cool effectively. Your comments?
I think , the vents in Jeep Compass 🧭 is bit too narrow causing slower cooling when you get into the car on a hot summer . Also the amount of soft touch materials absorbs lot of heat . We need to also note compressors of all car manufacturers is different specs when it comes to Petrol & diesel cars & length of car . Will have to check the difference in tech figures .
Overall it's an excellent product. My concern was DDCT - Dry Dual Clutch Transmission system, it's not conducive for Indian Climate, with high climate temperature and dusty environment, it's prone to breakdowns, that's why most other premium companies have stopped this transmission and opted for conventional Torque Converter or CVT atleast for Indian market.
DDCT engines are majorly used in performance cars . Torque converters are conventional automatics which is in use by many manufacturers, but lacks the pickup & power of DCT .
DCT bcoz of its power , yes does get heats quickly . But the best part is , the shifts are very fast & there is no power lag . More power can be generated in a DCT with same engine size than through Torque converter .
DCT of FIAT is one of number 1 performance Petrol engine in the world sources to many manufacturers
Thank you brother.keep going loved it
I have S model 2.0 D. Excellent experience so far. The projector LEDs have even better range and the intensity is awesome.
Bro when did you get the delivery? Even i have pre booked however there is no update on the delivery yet.

YES ALTIMATE VECHICLE . PLANNING TO TAKE LIMITED MODEL DISEL
Wishing yo best of luck and congratulations 🎉.
Good choice 👍🏻 Limited version is best model to go for which has all the features which make the car complete on a long run .
Fascinating 🔥
What do you think about the stop and start feature that comes with the car? How's it been going for you?
I heard that it wears out your starter. Let me know please.
It’s a very annoying feature. Which needs to be get rid of . The time delay for stop-start is 2-3 sec when car comes to standstill . I usually have made a habit of turning the feature off when I get into the car .
Wears out starter , I have not noticed this .
@@vikasshetty1987 I bought mine last week and it came with the feature disabled already, I brought it to the dealership today and asked them to turn it on, do you think they will disable it again if i don't like it?
How did they disable it ? Any idea 💡
@@vikasshetty1987 there is a switch under the screen the yellow one

Hey bro 👋🏼. How is the suspension..?? Heard it’s good for highway, no one talks about city roads. Is it suited for city driving also?? (the roads with more speed breakers, bumps & potholes)
Hi Vignesh , thank you for reaching out .
The suspension are independent setup & are on harder side due to dampening. But on slow speeds over multiple potholes you will feel them .
Speed breaker & a bumps there behave better than a normal car & no jumping feel .
I just felt : on too much undulations roads surface( where all 4 tyres are on different heights), there is lot of body roll at slow crawling speed .
It's smooth bcoz airplay nothing to do with built in infotainment
Could be bro. Anyways , my experience. These gizmos are secondary . At the end of the day , you need a car that can give ur driving pleasure and keep safe during untoward incident .
Ofcourse it does. Your experience won’t be good if the touch feedback is bad.
Touch Feedback aur data transfer ki speed sab differ krti h!
Carplay ho ya Android auto infotainment powerful hona chahiy taki woh baki smooth experience de sakw
Skoda new launches will surely overshadow Jeep Compass, if Skoda prices Kushaq and Karoq right in 2021
Kushaq is sub 4 meter compact . Price would be 10lakhs-16lakhs on-Rd . Not comparable to Jeeep .

I hate the sunroof. Building a strong steel body, and leaving the roof with dumb a** glass. Bravo Compass bravo.
What do suggest to be used for sunroof ?
@@vikasshetty1987 I think a steel sun roof with good strength, and a small glass that doesn't break when it topples. When I buy it, I will just replace the glass with steel.
Personally my favourite too.......
Congrats Bro. I too like Petrol version.
Mileage seems the only issue. Do you see any improvement in 2021 version?
How much mileage are you getting under normal driving conditions?
Petrol mileage in start stop traffic is very poor I must say : I am getting only 7kmpl . But on highways non-stop drive for an hour with 80km-100kmhr the mileage just goes above 15kmpl is what I noticed . I brought this car more to take outside Mumbai on long trips .
But yes mileage is dismal in heavy traffic prone cities 6-7kmpl with Air condition. But the mileage calculated by JEEP system is based on an average of per Hour . So if you are driving real short intervals less than hour , the car shows very poor average by its internal measures & criteria .
@@vikasshetty1987 Thanks Bro. That is reasonable considering the power delivery and weight of the vehicle. Happy and safe driving :)
Any idea whether Jeep India has plans to bring the new 1.3L petrol engine which is already available abroad ?
The current engines 1.4 Petrol ddct is manufactured in China and sourced in. Hence the higher price of the JEEP compass 🧭
Getting one more engine 1.3 doesn’t sound cost effective for JEEP . May be the renegade or small version of JEEP variant may have . Right now , I don’t think 1.3 is coming in india for next 2 yrs
@@vikasshetty1987 Hi. I am considering the Limited petrol automatic 4x2 variant. How is the ride quality, handling and driving dynamics? How about fuel consumption/mileage of this variant? Since my yearly average is around 3500-4000 kms, considering petrol. How about Maintenance/Service cost? Please advice.
Mileage is 6-7kmpl in city traffic where average speed is below 25km/hr
On highway for Long distance : it gives 11-12kmpl easily for speed above 80kmphr
Service interval is 15,000km or once a year whichever is early
Service cost is near 8,000₹ to 15,000₹ ( as you service every year after year

Great choice
No point comparing it with harrier, harrier is absolute value for money
You may ignore Harrier .
What about rattling noises heard all compasses suffer from it (2021 onwards
Have been using it for 18months . I don’t hear any
@@vikasshetty1987 thanks
Jeep compass doesn't belong to harrier and hector segment. Compass is true suv with AWD.
Agreed it gives you the only option of 4wd
Hi, I almost bought the same colour and variant however in my long test drive I found the driver seat to be too firm and not at all comfortable, I doubt how comfortable they are for you especially for long drives?
Agreed the driving seat is lumbar support is on hard side . But then this car does have Automatic adjustment of Lumbar support for you lower backbone to mid .
Initially after I bought , my body took time to adjust to seat 💺. But then I could find the sweet spot of seat adjustment to make me comfortable. I have seen lot of JEEP owners do put extra cushions or support for back rest .
It’s a subjective matter from person to person .
I would say their seats are not the softest one ☝🏻, but quality of leather & finish is best
That’s what my friend told me when I first told her about this car. I thought she was exaggerating but no 😅
I find the 8way support fantastic for long drives and done 1800 kms in 2 days
Not sure if one in question is manual or auto adjustment but I'll suggest y'all looking for back and under support in memory foam form or gel based, that are fantastic for long runs!
O|||||||O Details are mentioned in the description of Video .
Fantastic interiors. But as far as petrol turbo suvs, kicks and duster are class leading.. but their interiors are years behind JEEP. Congrats
Need an advise - should I chose Jeep diesel or petrol if my running is less - @ 5000 per year
No doubt go for diesel .
Better resale , better mileage , better pickup & more torque
They should have change with good auto gear box and put 1.8 ltr engine for automatic version.

How much it costs you for insurance? Which one do you have? Planning to buy the same limited petrol.
Car dealers are smart : they will tell you 3 year insurance is part of the complete package for 1.2 lakh . Then when u bargain. , they will say we are giving you 60k discount . But don’t fall prey . Actually they are giving you 1 year comprehensive & next 2 year only third party .
You can buy the same abov insurance from outside too for 45k
Hey man I just want to know is the car worth buying? Actually I'm confused with Harrier! Any suggestions would be grateful!!
If you money & drive city daily regularly & have parking crunch around , then go for JEEP diesel only .
Else go for xuv500 top model
White colour could have been a nice choice but still it looks very sporty in red and black coloured roof 👌👌👌 is the engine break in done ?
These Jeep cars don’t need breakin as per manuals . The first service is directly after 6months or 15,000km which ever is earliest .
Very good car. Jeep.
How is the air conditioning bro? I have heard if car is parked under sunlight for few mins AC takes hell lot of time.
The windshield & windows have special UV reflectors which is built into the Glass itself .
Secondly : A/c is dual zone automotive climat control.
Jeep is not a huge car : it’s a medium SUV . It has a climate control automotive AC in top variants . If you run the AC on auto mode or low temperatures, during severe summers ; you shouldn’t face any trouble at all .
I have not noticed anything wired with relates to AC . It’s optimal but not mind blowing .
You even have a Panoramic sunroof to quickly decimate hot 🥵 air from car with one touch
Good decision acha hua MG nahi liya aur iska safety bhi best rahega among rivals
Yes , wish MG & Harrier declare or test their Safety
do give me advice on it ..as my colleageus are against this ... due to high cost and low mileage !!!
Mileage of Petrol is at very lower side : please buy a diesel manual .
Secondly maintenance is only once a year :
1st year : 10,000-12,000₹
2nd year : 10,000-15,000₹
3 year : 15,000-25,000₹ ( brake pad changes )
5star rating in safety
Brand JEEP
Highway this car is gem to drive with fmly
Adequate luggage space of 460litres
Extended warranty up to 5years : with cost of 50,000₹
Hi...hope you are enjoying your jeep. Can you give us an idea about long term ownership and the mileage in petrol engine? I m confused between petrol and diesel.
Petrol automatic mileage in city like mumbai have traffic area : 7kmpl .
On highways it’s 11kmpl easily , you may even get 13-15 if you drive 80kph
Diesel is best to go with only if you drive this car annually atleast 15,000kms /yr
Maintenance is not exorbindant , just less than 20k per year. .
Quality is awesome , you can easily feel it’s a sturdy car and safest .
I have done speeds 190kmph too , it was very safe
planning to buy compass but i am getting confused whether to for petrol automatic or diesel mannual ..
intrested in limited variant. Do you think automatic can pull off in hill climb ???
All automatic have triptronic mode ( manual ) . The traction control of all jeep variants works like a charm , ensuring all wheels have enough traction to climb . The all terrain tyres are top of the line Bridgestone for limited variants and above . Mileage will be your area to decide ?? Petrol with 7-8mileage in city or diesel with 10-12 kmpl in city
That was great review of the car. Can you please let us know about the after sales service of Jeep. Would really appreciate. Thank you.
After sales of JEEP “Landmark dealer” is very good . They take very good care of customers . One email or message to FCA India or JEEP India , will ensure you get immediate call from local dealer or sales rep. Rest assured their service is no#1
Can we anyhow know....how is RSA and spare parts availability in case of any accidents or breakdown. Actually I am planning to get one but a little sceptical about the service. Thanks a lot.
RSA service is pretty good . But covers only limited KM boundaries. If you have the dealership far away( 3-4hours away ) from where your reside , then don’t buy .
BTW JEEP is tough car with great engine . Breakdown are unusual if you are not maintaining the car
@@vikasshetty1987 Thank you so much for your insight.
Bro I also got my compass sport manual in petrol 2 weeks back and I am able to get 8.5-9KM/L in Bangalore city traffic. I don't get a chance to drive it on highways as of now.. Thanks for the video.
Congratulations buddy . That’s a good choice . Sports version is good deal , over a period you can make changes to alloys & wrap the top panel to make it more sportier like Limited model .

Bhai, could you post real life milage in city as well as on High way after using it for a month?
I have replied this question many times in the comments section .
Real life : mileage is 7.5kmpl in city with speed less than 40kmHr
Congratulations....pls do give us an idea about night and rain drivability.
Debashish : the Performance LED of jeep is way better than previous generations of jeep . They are better than competitors. Also lights give ur better throw & assurance in driving fast .
Over all , the cornering lights also add more confidence when taking on Ghats & turns
@@vikasshetty1987 Hi Thanks a tonne for responding...just curious, during rains, are the white lights effective??
Yes absolutely. They do perform Sam way like any other high end cars like BMW / Audi / Merc
Throw is good . High beam activated both : low & high together making it more brighter . This does the job better than any other car in this segment
As you know : yellow light are always best for heavy rains & fogs.
I was also planning to by SUV from VW/Skoda but that will be too expensive and considering Jeep engine is almost or less than that of VW, i still feel it will give better value for money than VW and Skoda. I m planning to buy top end AT of Compass
Only thing which is missing here is paddle shifters which helps to take out most of SUV when you want to switch to manual in AT
As per my extensive research, the JEEP brand pays lot of attention to customer service & satisfaction for sales & service both .
Being in the market for 4th year , very less people have tried to resell the car on OLX / Cars24 & other platforms. This shows the positive effect from buyers who are happy with the car in long runs . Petrol ⛽️ cars are good for maintenance & less running . Build of Jeep is very good & galvanised steel 70% is best in quality for anti rust properties
Paddle shifter are missing , wish it had one . Should have costed the company so much .
But yes the triptronic shifts are smooth & fast 💨 too. On highways I do use it very often to over take
Congrats beautiful car
Thank you sir
Tyre monitor should be available in all varients

I am considering model S 4wd but confused if I should stretch my budget 7-8 lakhs more on endeavour sport.
Endeavour anytime .
ENDEAVOUR ANY TIME..
Yes bro , next one
@@vikasshetty1987 I was iffy about endeavour now coz of the downgraded 2.0 litre engine and heard rumours about endeavour facelift.
I beg to differ. I have extensively driven the jeep diesel manual and automatic, jeep petrol automatic and the new endeavour.
The new endeavour sucks. The only thing it has now to recommend is the look from outside which is unbeatable.
What is the problem I find with the endeavour? Simply this, that 2 litre engine is simply not capable of the vehicle. In the roads of Trivandrum I found it difficult to overtake and manoeuvre an auto due to the insufficient low end torque and underpowered engine.
The ride quality of both over rough road is almost the same, I found the jeep marginally better.
The negative I found for the jeep is the tiny interior space in relation to the price.
The response of the jeep petrol automatic is far better than the diesel. Except for the abysmal mileage, which one of my friends report as 5kmpl in kochi, it would be my pick.
Please remember that the 3.2 l endeavour is a different league altogether.
Booked a jeep diesel manual with ventilated seats.
How difficult is it to maintain light coloured interiors ? Is it stain resistant ?
The company fitter seat colours & upholstery are very good quality . I have seen cars in service centre which have clocked miles in last 3 yrs , still their interiors are plush & clean still
Good choice
Awesome
Hi brother..iam planning for diesel automatic...is it a good choice? And what about the rattling sounds in door which some people are saying? Please suggest me can I go for diesel automatic? Please reply.
Rattling , this is just a myth . This car has the best build quality in the industry ( below 30lakh bracket )
Diesel auto is only available 4x4 & yes it’s a good choice if ur budget allows .
Kia Caren is getting launched on 16/dec/21 check that too

Wow the interiors are amazing the colour of interiors does not suit to the car exterior colour. If your car exterior would be blue or black or even white also than the colour of the interior could look more awesome and combination would also be nice
Sure . Agreed .
How does petrol AT perform on hill climbs?
As per instructions manual , you are advised to switch to triptronic manual model during steep incline drive .

Good to go with ?
This is Petrol Limited DCT buddy which I have reviewed
Even I own Petrol auto compass but don’t like its performance especially 0 to 60 km
4×4 atomic diesel our petrol atomic 2w kousa powerful heyy ...
4x4 diesel
Few misses of jeep at this price point
Petrol engine is strictly average. Diesel engine is a blast to drive. Dual clutch could
Pose issue in long run. Even hatchbacks like Polo, i20 will leave jeep in the dust considering their better power to weight ratio in petrol turbo versions. However Diesel engine of jeep is at another level. This should be enthusiast pick.
Space is very less inside compared to the competition like Tata Harrier, Creta, Seltos, Tucson
Feature distribution is weird. Even a basic wireless charger is limited to top trims.
4*4 is limited to diesel trims only.
After sales and service remains a questions mark.
I think space wise : Creta & seltos are no match to JEEP . You are been little over bias towards Koreans .
Secondly i20 & polo won’t make more than 180kph against a JEEP on Long run .
Diesel engine of jeep is better than Petrol , agreed . But with stricter emissions norms & govt policy , I wanted to go with Petrol ⛽️ which less headache to maintain & longevity . My annual drive is less than 10,000kms .
No offence to you buddy but petrol versions of Korean twins offer same wheelbase and space, similar engine, similar performance, better mileage and much more features than petrol Jeep. I agree that Jeep is segment above but the premium for build quality of jeep is just too expensive. After spending 28 lacs on Jeep petrol you still get average engine and performance of a segment below. Trust me Polo and i20, 0-100 figures will be much better than Jeep. I would have wished for more powerful and refined petrol engine like T-ROC, Karoq, Superb at this price point.
Also average of Jeep will be be just 5-6 Kmpl for short trips. This is much lower than any similar car having same engine specs. You have to drive at least 12-13 kms to get an average of 7-8 KMPL. So the car is not meant for city short runs. Add to it unreliability of DCT. My suggestions to avail maximum warranty for peace of mind. Turbo Petrol's are not reliable as their Diesel counterparts due to excessive heat they generate. Also difference in service cost of Turbo Diesel vs Turbo petrol is negligible. Naturally Aspirated petrol's are hugely reliable, low maintenance and peace of mind but this is not the case with turbo petrol's. So this would defeat the purpose of keeping it for more than 10 Years compared to Diesel.
But I will completely agree that Jeep has great looks. Superb build quality inside out and is more of an aspirational brand. Value for money it is NOT.
Bro, I wish you a very pleasant experience with your Jeep. It looks smoking hot in Red Shade. :).
Thanks Anurag .
Yes , have a warranty of 5years .
You are bang on with mileage for short rides .
I was looking for performance car with good premium feel with extra safety .
Diesel is what I didn’t wanted , Petrol ⛽️ was my first preference & automatic too.
Naturally aspirated Petrol engines are true engines for long running . Agreed .
I will share my feedback & issues if any in future .

Sir what is the mileage of jeep
Compass 1.4 dct.
If you are going to drive in heavy traffic or roads where you can’t go above 40kph (average speed ) . Then with a/c you will get mileage of 7km/ltr (Petrol )
If you are driving more of hwy & average speed is 60kph then expect 10kph economy
& 80kph+ speed until 100kph , 14-15 km/ltr
Sir I also bought a jeep can you TellMe if it has a inbuilt maps ?
Only for S model
Always remember if u ever rough use the car and clutch blows, its a cost 75k in petrol automatic version
The Jeep Compass has lot of safety features which ensured the Engine is not abused by a driver .
Example EPB , engine oil temperature check , coolant temperature check : as soon as the figures go up the car will stop automatic for your to read the message and take necessary action .
Secondly the automatic car : DDCT is very smart gear shifter which changes gears as per traction on car + speed + brakes applied .
Unless you are very rookie driver , you will burn 🔥 even the Range Rover engine by misuse . Which would cost you more than 10lakhs
I would suggest if you drive to abuse the engine , then don’t buy this or any car .

Hello I am planning to book same variant & same color but everyone I know insisting me to book limited diesel (for Mileage and stuffs), Since I don't have any experience with diesel I am leaning on this model.
How is experience so far have you faced any issues? Many owners reporting issues like Cabin Noise, Disk Creaks, Engine Auto off, Wireless connectivity and Air Con Issues! But all these are from Diesel models. I don't see any issues reported online for 2021 petrol model.
Interiors are same for Petrol / diesel .
Petrol mileage in city with traffic is very low 6-7kmpl . But on highways with Petrol engine auto , you can achieve 13-15kmpl too . I have done it .
But if you are driving Daily , then diesel is what u shud buy. Diesel auto is only with 4x4 options . So check ur options .
Petrol auto doesn’t have any problem so far , completed 1 yr now .
