Please record the rear camera view at night, including unlit conditions - I wonder if this device can finally replace the real mirror (regular G900 couldn't).
I just got it, the rear camera is absolute trash in the dark. It’s worse than the stock rear view camera. In the light, it completely replaces a mirror.

I will be doing some real world testing soon! I hope it performs as good as im thinking it will! It looks like such a high quality dash cam. I can't wait for final installation

@princedoodoo4067 I don't think the hardware kit is any different, but I don't think the rear cameras are compatible. I need to find out if the camera wiring is compatible. I'll get back to you
One thing imentioned on their website is the new reverse assist. How does that work? Does it use a sonar like backing with a tone to let you know when you getting too close to an object?
I just received another dash Cam in the mail today: Pelsee P2 Trio 4K Dash Cam Front and Rear Inside WiFi, 64GB Card, 4K+1080P. But after seeing this video I feel I should return it and get the G900 pro. The only thing is the G900 pro doesn't appear to film the inside of the car. I wish it would so that if I had someone in the car that was being difficult I would have that on video. Is there a way to record the inside of the car with the G900 pro?
What box does have a different model I believe it is the g930, and that has a third camera to mount inside the car, I do recommend wolfbox products so I would definitely check them out and see what you think
I would think that the Pro would have eliminated the straps to mount over OEM mirror and included an OEM direct mount. I'll continue to research and wait.
How does the pro do with time lapsed video. Can you slow it down on the app so it'll play in normal mode. I have the g840s. It just plays the time lapsed videos fast.
The time lapsed videos are all very fast, you would have to go frame by frame if you were looking for something specific. Just like other time lapse videos
@@wesshort7202 yup! Super easy. All that you need to change is the rear camera. The wiring that is routed to the rear camera will stay. But the actual rear camera will need to be swapped to the one that comes with the g900 pro
Have you actually tried using the rear camera with the g900? Some of the customer service reps say it works fine some say it won't. I don't see why it wouldn't if they're the same res and same 60hz. Is it the the file type that doesn't work?? You should make a video comparing and if the cameras are or are not interchangeable . I have and love the g900. The only thing I remotely like on the pro is the app. I also see you mentioned exposure control. The front is already perfect. The rear is the one that could benefit from exposure control. Is the rear adjustable?
I have not actually tried to plug it in, it would fit, but I'm not sure what would happen 😂😂 And I believe the exposure is only for the front, I didn't see an option for the rear. I will be testing it out more early next week 🙏🙏🤙🤙
The video on very dark roads on the back camera is not as good as I expected, but I did reach out to Wolfbox and they said they plan on fixing this with a firmware upgrade. But as far as seeing multiple headlights, I believe that aspect is better than the g900

i heard the pro rear is bad especially at night compared to 800-900 version.

I believe all of wolf box cameras have a mount you can purchase on their website to attach to the factory mount

Yeah during the day, the rear is perfect, but at night, it's just as dark are a regular mirror would look. But this should get fixed soon

So the wolf box is just a display screen no actual mirror ?
you can power the system off by pushing the orange button and it'll work as a typical mirror.

You can disconnect the g900 camera and plug in the g900 Pro camera to the extension wires
Is the setting for the Parking Mode/Time Lapse removed in the Pro?
The settings are still there, in this video I only had the power cable connected to the 12v cigarette lighter for testing purposes
How is the video at night? Specially in highways where are lots of lights at the back.

The wifi is to connect the dashcam to your phone so you can transfer videos from the dash cam to your phone.
