      Picture is truly amazing. Great color accuracy, deep blacks. Frankly, audio quality surprised me. I just wish they could have collaborated with Harman Kardon just like Vava did, especially since Samsung already has some kind of partnership with them based on their premium soundbars. Hoping to see that in the next version.

    Great brief vid. Cheers! Planing to buy but undecided between optoma cinemax p2 and this one. All things considered, a deal breaker for me is now placement. Finding cool furniture piece is a pain for USTs. So, was wondering how many "cm" from the wall to the front of the projector where the speakers are in this vid? Thanks for the help!

    • @zas786
      @zas786  3 года назад

      If the distance from wall is the deal breaker, try Vava. It has the shortest throw ratio. Only 7 inches from wall for 100 inch image. Samsung needs about 11 inches. it was the same reason i ended up going with Vava after careful consideration. I have a brief video online for Vava. Quality is almost comparable to Samsung. Price is better. App store is lacking though. Biggest edge they have over Samsung is the customer service. Incredibly responsive. Will be doing another video with an ALR screen soon.

      @@airfr3eze from 11 inches away, you get 100 inch image. Closer it is , smaller the image. • @zas786
      @zas786  3 года назад

      For the edges to be perfectly straight, you will need a flawless wall. Any flaws in the wall, and you will see some waviness.
      Although, with the multi point keystone, you can play around and get it pretty straight.
      You have invested a lot in this projector, so go for an alr/clr screen.
      Just like a tv, you will keep this plugged in even when off.
      As for the flickering on the wall when the projector is turned off, shouldn't be happening. Could be a defect. Better to contact Samsung.

    • @zas786

      This is an ultra short throw projector, which means it can be placed almost against the wall. In your case, for a 90 inch image you need it just 10 inches (.25 meters) from the wall. To get the most out of this amazing projector, I would advise to go bigger if your wall allows. Try 120 inches. For 120 inch image, you only need about 16 inches (.4 meters) distance from the wall.

      You can't place it flush. You have to place it based on the requirements of the image size. Check Samsung's site, they have a chart that tells you exactly how far from the wall it needs to be for a particular size screen. For a 120" screen it is 17". It also has to be a specific distance below the screen. Both measurements, height and depth, have to be exact.
