My favorite is the velvet tonka. The wood jasmin is in my wishlist. I wish I could like the gris chanel. There's something in it that I couldn't tolerate. Have you tried the two newest releases from Kilian Yana? I blind bought the apple brandy on the rock. Fingers crossed that it will be as good as how everyone else described.
If I am not wrong, I smelled it in Hamburg and it was nice! I can imagine that probably one of wood materials could be why you don't like Gris Charnel.
I recently discovered the last one, Velvet Tonka, was expecting a gourmand ... but I must say I just don't get this one AT ALL 😲 . But I liked Gris Charnel, Bouquet de Hongrie, and loved Sel d'Argent (btw, marine fragrances are perfectly unisex to me :) ... have you tested Ocean Leather by Memo ? I don't know if you'll like it but it's a beauty ! ) . As I only have tried them on testing strips I need to investigate this interesting brand more 🙂
No I don't think Ive smelled that memo it was too long ago I tested this line..for me velvet Tonka is gourmand with a powder over dose of almonds and although I ❤️powdery scents it's a bit boring to me
I struggle with ouds, particularly from THOO-for some reason those have a harsh/bitter type of smell. But the first oud perfume I really liked is Kayali Amber Invite Only-maybe because it is not oud-forward (also not niche but I like it and to mix with other perfumes). Velvet Tonka is my favorite BDK but I completely agree with your description: it does smell mostly sweet and powdery with almond. Glad you got to try before buying! Thank you for reviewing this many BDK parfums! Love your sweater and hair, very cozy. 🥰
Hi Laurel haven't heard from you in a while. How have you been? I really love thoo but totally understand what you mean. In fact, I don't have many of there perfumes only a few but I'd like to have at least 5 more. Or maybe 6😅😅😅
@@Tommelise Hi Yana, it’s been very busy here because my two cats have gotten elderly and are having many issues so I spend a lot of time taking care of them (I also work to help run my county’s elections and there’s one coming up so work is nuts!). My favorite way to relax is to watch your videos, 🤗 and now I have a few I can watch in a row. I hope you get all 5, 6, or even 7 of the perfumes you want! 😂 Maybe I need to try THOO again and get my nose used to them, or maybe it’s my skin chemistry but I definitely want to find more ouds! 🥰 💞
BDK is one of my favorite houses! Pas Ce Soir, Gris Charnel, Rouge Smoking, and Tabac Rose are my favorites! ❤️

This was quite interesting and enjoyable🤩🤩🤩👌👌👌. I have Pas Ce Soir and a sample of Rouge Smoking😍😍😍. I sampled Tabac Rose last year and fell in love but don’t own a full bottle yet. I would also like to sample Gris Chanel and see which one is my favourite between the two. Awesome rating👌👌👌. Stay fabulous😘😘😘.

I've watched and listened till the end - even I do not own ANY of these scents 😃😃😄. I own about 200 bottles - ZERO BDK Parfums , Yana . I love the way you are "talking " fragrances - it seems to be very nice House , but there is " something" in BDK what does not / didn't invite me to try them in all these years when I started to collect and love a bit more Fragrances ... Maybe I will try some of - if I only get the possibility 😄👍🏻🤗.
