I agree, I definitely get Cherry Dr Pepper the initial spray. I thought it didn't last on my clothes either but I wore it on a sweater and the next day it still smelled like it. I like Gris Charnel too. Loved the review.
No worries, I experienced the same with Lost Cherry from TF. It does not last much on me. But I felt happy that Greta, Paulina Schar and others have experienced the same from TF. So everybody is different. And perfumes react and perform differently in each one of us.

Nice review! I agree, we all interpret scents differently. Mandorlo di Sicilia has been in my cart for months and I just haven’t purchased. I might pick this up for spring☺️ oh and btw your lashes look great, I couldn’t stop looking at them in the second 1/2 of the video!

I wear this with penhaligons bewitching yasmine and that’s another scent that doesn’t last but the combo is so so good it’s worth it to me to have them. I just keep decants of both in my purse to touch up when they start to fade away. These won’t be repurchase but I’m definitely enjoying them. I agree about not wanting to have items in my collection unless they are loves.
I layered this with TF lost cherry. I'm curious what you think of that I liked it . Definitely helped it stretch
You’re right about the longevity and projection. And I layer it with another scent that doesn’t last long either lol. I got a compliment when someone was walking behind me and the breeze was blowing. I really love it but it has some performance issues for sure. Tfs

I’m guessing Let Down. This is on my sample list. Such a nice bottle and I really enjoy cherry, almond and chocolate notes these days.
unfortunately none of those notes come through, kind of a big let down for me, doesn't get big enough for me and I thought maybe I'm missing something, it get's a lot of hype. My skin eats this up, definitely light weight, not much sillage...develops to a nice skin smell, but totally unimpressed...I wanted so much more from this! I paid less, too, but I'm still a little mad...It could have been so great from the notes, I'm shocked how kinda of boring it is...there's just not a lot going on, it doesn't move or change enough to be interesting... I fully agree with the review in the video, unfortunately. The rootbeer smell is so subtle too, and only comes in the dry down. I too was expecting to smell more from Rouge Smoking but it's really a subdued scent and quite linear...the dry down is nice, but it's so close to the skin, no one else would notice...that's not usually an issue, but for the price, I should be able to smell it longer and bigger, I get maybe 4-5 hours max and it's gone.

After two years of BDK Rouge fragrance, I mixed it with petroleum jelly to create a long-lasting scent that lasted many hours. 🤣🤣😉

Just what i needed ! Watching now ! I originally was bummed with that one when i first tested it. It was lacking in the longevity.. but when i tested it the last time, it lasted a whole shift. I love the drydown ❤️ but still not sure if i NEED it... I’m not sure if i really like it or i just am encouraged by a lot of videos / hauls about it... okay now to watch..
I’m hoping that when I pick this up again it will turn into a love for me!
I need to order from Krystal. I've heard a lot about her service. I ordered BDK Rouge Smoking and it's nice but the cherry did not last on me which was a bit disappointing. I agree the cherry is powdery and I smell almond too. The projection wasn't that great for me either. I like my fragrances to hum. It was just ok. Great review. I only have an 8 ml and I don't think I'll get a full bottle. I receive my 8 ml from maxaroma which is a great decant and full bottle site.
Yes, I love Maxaroma too! Glad to know that I'm not the only one who felt this way about Rouge Smoking!
I have a sample of this.. It smells like a flat cherry coke. It's different, it's nice, but not mind blowing I think ❤
I wish I had seen this video before I bought this. I was hoping for a dark syrup cherry.... this smells plasticky ( if that is a word lol) It is not what I though especially for the price. Good call, I swear I thought I got a fake too because of the shear disappointment. Thank you so much for your honesty. Let down for me.

I guessed it was a let down. I think for the price, the performance doesn’t match. I also feel like some things get over hyped because of the reviewers and people who initially bring it to the forefront or introduce it to the masses. But, I know fragrance is so personal too. Thanks for the review. Did you get the Gris Charnel sample? If so, what are your thoughts on that one?
Yes I did and I loved it at first sniff. I haven’t sprayed it on my skin yet. If it performs on my skin like it did on the paper, it is going on my wishlist! 😂

I actually got rid of this bottle. Later I repurchased and the new bottle did seem to have better performance!
Let down?
So I do own many good quality purfume and I blind bought it. I must admit, I over sprayed it and it made me so so sick. I tried it again with one spray. It lasted all day but I just can’t handle it. My tummy turned. I do love cherry perfumes and own three others that have the similar not that I love. The juice is beautiful but sold mine on my Mercari account. So sad, but it was a pass. I do like others from the brand. I guess I’m sticking to lost cherry and dancing roses. :)
I had the same problem with this perfume. I cant stand on my skin! Luckily I had just a sample.
I don’t know how I missed your review on this fragrance. I don’t think I’m going to buy it. $180 is to much for me to spend on a fragrance that doesn’t perform well.

Sorry I thought I was subscribed already my bad😳the scent is terrible I should’ve known better to bb it. No lasting power and I prefer big dark sexy fragrances this ain’t it. I do buy lighter fragrances that are beautiful that aren’t beast mode that may need to be reapplied after 4hrs but this one I’m just not even remotely interested in. I’m going to give it to a friend after I let them know how I feel about it bc she doesn’t like strong scents. I knew you’d hate it!!
