Thanks a lot, Penguin! I cannot emphasize enough how much of a difference the airbrush made for me. Painting by brush was always a chore for me - considering you can get a basic kit for really cheap, I would take the plunge if I were you!
Excellent work as always; thank you for the video. I just bought a bunch of Tamiya paint, gloss coat, thinner, and maskol. I'm painting my son's imperial guard army, and I'm going to apply your lessons to our tanks and aircraft. Pretty excited to see how this goes. Also, your music kicks ass compared to other channels!
Hi Joe, thank you very much! I’m very happy to hear that I’ve served as inspiration to another gamer dad, and in particular one who also likes tanks and metal music, heheh! Have fun and come back with questions anytime!
Awesome job 👌👍! I bought Revells Snowspeeder in scale 1/29. I'm kinda new at modelbuilding. I don't have a airbrush, could i do these stuff with only brushes? And what colours is the best for use to this model? Cheers
Hi Burren, thanks a lot for your feedback. Painting a vehicle like this by hand is possible, but not easy. You could do it in one of three ways: with Tamiya paint sprays, with the “slapchop” technique popularized by Warhammer youtubers, or the traditional way, with several thinned down layers of acrylic paints and lots of patience. For the slapchop, I would recommend Army Painter 2.0 Speedpaints; for the last option, I would go with Scale75 paints and a few good quality brushes. But above all, I would say - get an airbrush, mate! 😉
Thanks, Paul, that’s very interesting. Checked them out, they look pretty good. I must say I am not that concerned about color-matching with the studio models, however.

¡Gracias, Jose! Es de los que más he disfrutado haciendo, la verdad.
Very nice, Well done. Times like this I wish I had an airbrush.

@@TheRaceForTerra Allright 😊!
ArchiveX makes a set of Star Wars scale model colors that are identical to those used on the original movie models.

First!
You won!
